Firstly the good things: The service was good and the waiter very kind. The atmosphere and the decorationS are cool. The nutella tiramisù was a 11 out of 10. Delicious. Therefore, I can only compliment you for those!

Now, the VERY BAD THING, which I think it applies to all Pizza Pilgrmis restaurants and not only to the Hyde Park branch. Therefore this 1 star review has the aim to attract the attention of the bosses and not the staff working.

The purpose of my visit was to have an "Americana pizza", which is so difficult to find in the UK, despite being one of the most popular pizzas in Italy.

I was sooooo happy to find out Pizza Pilgrims had added this delicacy to their menu but guys... IT IS UNACCEPTABLE YOU ONLY OFFER THIS WHITE!!!! I grow up in Italy and never have I ever heard of white Americana pizza. I asked the waiter if it would be possible to have it red, stating I would have been more than happy to pay for the extra but he replied (nicely) that this was not possible because "the ingredients can't be mixed in the kitchen" (which I assume it emplyes the pizzas are not freshly made!!!). The waiter nicely propose it could bring me some row tomato sauce (I assumed it meant ketchup) but I said I would go for another type of pizza, so I did.

On the menu, the american pizza is described as a neopolitan classic, so I asked my neopolitan friend if it is true they have it white in Naples and she denied this.
