After 4yrs and many failed attempts (mostly because I always thought about popping in on my day off, a Monday, which is when they are closed!), I have finally made it to Sushi Heads. And I'm delighted to report it is excellent! Great menu, freshly prepared sashimi, sushi,. noodles etc (a few seats to eat in or get to take away)👌 Also a good selection of Japanese items for the pantry (soba noodles, nori sheets, soy, shiracha etc), freezer (gyoza, edamame, ice cream) and cute soy dishes, chopstick holders etc. Open until 9pm Weds-Sat. Pop in, you won't regret it!

Stumbled upon this little gem on a Saturday afternoon and I must say the service was excellent, so welcoming and friendly. They serve sushi, donburi, Japanese curry and also have sauces and dry noodles you can buy off the shelf to make at home. We had fish sushi and veggie sushi, it was fresh and tasty. Actually spent around £40 and it was well worth it. So delicious, I told my whole street to head over to this place. Highly recommend!

It may not seem like the 5* restaurant youd expect but it's clear that these lovely ladies know what they are doing when it comes to sushi! Having eaten sushi at some of the most sought after, expensive restaurants in the world I can easily say this is amongst the best sushi I have ever eaten. I would absolutely recommend a visit here!

Great food, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed at my last visit. Part of the reason I loved Sushi Heads so much was because it was great value for money, and was a great spot to grab lunch in an area that doesn't have many options. I gave them 5 stars when I last reviewed them, but unfortunately I'm taking off a star because they've recently increased their pricing by quite a significant margin. Whilst I appreciate it's a difficult time for the restaurant & hospitality industry, I'm not sure the quality or the portion sizes warrant the level of pricing increase. I would not say they're great value for money at present based on their current pricing, and it's no longer an attractive lunch...

Brilliant little sushi and Japanese grocery shop that is a family staple for us - we have been treating ourselves to their food every Friday for the last couple of years (and other times here and there as well). Naomi is a fantastic chef, sushi is lovely and also find out when they do hot food and check it out. Freezers are also full of little treats you can take away and enjoy at home, from green tea ice cream to mochis, to edamame and kimchi. You may also find hand made cards, little gifts like ceramic cups or special chopsticks, or other surprises - just check it out! You won’t be...
