I rarely write negative reviews but the service in this place has warranted this one. Was looking forward to trying this place as they had vegan options. When I first went in the server was helpful and friendly and said they could make me a vegan box which wasnt on the menu yet and went through in detail what he was going to put in it. Told me the order would be 15-20mins. It took them 45mins in the end with no apology or updates while I was standing at the counter. By the time the order came I was holding a crying baby outside - no apology was given for the delay and even though my hands were clearly full with a pram and a baby he offered no help. Instead a lovely Uber driver helped put the food in my pram. Once I got home I discovered the order was short of one piece which we agreed would be in the vegan box. I called them and again no apology was offered instead they told me it was deliberately not included because it wouldn’t fit in the box! Eventhough I already paid for it and they could just not give me the decorative lettuce and it would’ve fit! I would’ve even eaten the piece on the spot after that near hour standing outside wait but nothing was said about it when the order was handed over. He even tried to justify this some more to say they usually charge for menu alterations and that he already gave me more of something else (none of these were mentioned at the time we discussed the menu and agreed at the order stage). Early dinner last week, takeaway. Be mindful that a lot of the review's are for a previous restaurant, not the sushi place.

Strong smell of oil in the foyer, my clothes have a lingering smell which is a huge no-no. Overall disappointing experience. The menu is confusing and not thought through, it is tricky to order a good variety of sushi without ordering too many pieces. The share boxes may be up to something, but still not getting there.

The great disappointment was the chicken teriyaki hot dish. I believe the chicken was precooked and microwaved, had a rubbery and watery consistency. It has teriyaki sauce poured over it, and it was not incorporated in the dish. Nothing like chicken teriyaki in Japan or even other restaurants.

Sushi was ok but falling apart, not well made at all. Chicken katsu futomaki was ok. Crunchy California was made with surimi, which is common. However the surimi volume was low and got lost in the roll. Crispy salmon skin was good.
