If I could give 0 stars I would. I wanted to take my mum out to eat to celebrate an occasion and walking past saw this restaurant. My mum liked the look of it so we went in. There was a guy the front who didn’t even make eye contact with us and rudely said someone’s coming from the back to help you. My mum then asked if the restaurant was halal and still without looking at us he said no it’s not again in the most rudest way. I told him this isn’t the way you speak to customers and that idk what kind of customer service that was. We would have even got something vegetarian if he let us speak. There were other customers there too and they also looked shocked. We left shortly after as we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I hardly ever make reviews but felt the need to do so as I felt such hostile energy from that worker today and I feel as though it should be said.

Thank you, hopefully you take this on board as I’m sure this is a lovely establishment with good food but sadly we weren’t able to find that out. I just hope you understand how we feel.

Reply: Not sure on how to reply on this but seeing your response genuinely shocked me. Atleast acknowledge how I might be feeling? Firstly there was no waiter who kept coming up to us? That’s a lie. If we were there for less than 2 minutes how did she keep coming up to us please makes no sense whatsoever.

Good to know the restaurant is halal! If only your lovely chef didn’t say it wasn’t halal with such a hostile attitude we might have got somewhere.

Another lie? There were customers in the restaurant. Two women were sitting near the window and a male was sat on the top bar. I made eye contact with the two girls and could see they were confused. Why lie honestly such a weird establishment

Anyways a rude rude response - I own a few businesses myself and would never write a response like that to my customers. I’d acknowledge their feelings and correct them in a nice way if needed.

The last part was definitely not needed? Do I look like a child for you to be making comments like that. Your “chef” was not nice to us and that is that. Maybe if the waitress was doing her job and was at the door we wouldn’t be so confused.
