My family and I had seen a nice greek restaurant, where we wanted to dine, unfortunetly the place had no available seats. So we headed further down the street, and a man from the restaurant Mykanos came out and really tried getting us to eat there, since we were hungry and had nowhere else to go, we gave it a chance. As soon as we came in we saw a lady with her infant leaving the restaurant saying she had to go but that she had a nice time, however there was no plates or any signs that she had eaten anything, the mood and generel vibe was therefore quite weird right of the bat. We then ordered two pints for my dad and I, and white whine for my brother and my mother, we also ordered some starters as well as a main course for all of us. The drinks came quickly, but my brother quickly realized that the bottle which the vine came in was not a whinebottle but rather an uncleaned bottle that belongs to the restaurant. After half an hour of waiting, the waiter came to our table and told us that the soups we ordered as a starter was not avialable at the moment, and if tomato soup would be fine instead. We thought it was a little odd but we accepted it anyways. After waiting for another 45 minutes, the soup finally arrived, but it wasnt a greek authentic tomato soup as adverticed, instead we were given some very thin watery soup with no non-liquid ingredients and a very bland taste. We quickly agreed on wanting to leave to place since it seemed so unsanitary and ingeuine with fake labelling. We asked the waiter if we could leave now and they didnt have a problem with it at first, until they finally took the time to let us pay. The man trying to figure out the bill was also the one and only person in the kitchen cooking, we were then very surprised to see his dirty fingers pouring a can of Carlsberg beer into a pint which they didnt even have on the menu. We ended up paying for a little bit more than what we actually recieved since they insisted on us paying for some garlic bread and olives, which we didnt even recieve, as well as a made up 10£ tax. Overall a horrible experience dont go here, it is a tourist...
Read moreThis place was awful, I had the worst experience ever. Firstly, the place just smells like raw meat and they're were flies everywhere, one even got into my cup! The glass cups were foggy, and the whole place just felt off. Secondly, when I decided to just pay for my drink and leave, the cook came out in his dirty apron and dirty fingernails and kept shouting at us and the waiter because we wanted to leave. Even the menu was sticky, and the decor was just wierd. There were zero people in that place, with 2 staff members (the waiter and the cook), which should have made me walked past in the first place. The waiter seemed apologetic for the cook's rudeness and suggested other places for us to try. We did stumble upon an Italian restaurant called Altonapoli, it was absolutely lovely and it had great reviews. Definitely better than this disgusting place with flies. Oh and just to show how overpriced the place was we payed £18 for just drinks, just 2 still waters...
Read moreThis restaurant smelled really bad, like old meat. The vibes were really off. I used the bathroom downstairs and the lady serving me warned me it was creepy and she was correct, this is the only positive thing I can say about her. The food was not nice, I didn't eat much and the lady seemed annoyed when I said I didn't want to take it with me. Service was slow, I was there for over an hour for tzatziki and Greek salad. When I got up to pay after waiting some time, the lady told me to sit down and wait and questioned why I was in a hurry. So I waited another 10 minutes or so, there was only one other table dining at the time and by this stage I was a little wary of the ladies overall energy/demeanour. The man, who seemed to be the cook would periodically go outside to try and hustle people in. He was very rude to the lady when he was scurrying to and fro from the kitchen to the pavement to hustle people. He almost pushed her over at one point. This place was...
