I've been eating at this Nandos once a week for three months. Initially the service was quick and the food good, even though their employees seem to be entirely different each week. Over the last month it has gone to rubbish, the food being poor and the service terrible.
Examples:
-The last three times I've been, the wait was about 30 minutes for food, even today at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon (when there were loads of staff there)!
-Today our three meals were brought to us about 5 minutes apart, and 5 minutes later they still hadn't brought the corn on the cob, despite us asking twice. The lady who brought up the last meal claimed she couldn't carry them at the same time as the single plate(!) she brought over, and gave us attitude about it too. Then obviously it took another few minutes having asked another member of staff for us to get them.
-All the chips were barely luke warm.
-The quarter chicken had hardly any meat on, and was served with the "parson's nose" (the butt) still attached. When my friend complained (extremely rare for him) they brought him another piece just as bad (although a bit more hot).
-The chicken pittas are getting smaller, and they look like they've been thrown together by an idiot child.
-At peaks times the queues reach the door, meaning at least a 15 minute wait standing before getting a table.

Read moreSo I took my family to Nando’s Enfield Town this evening and was blown away by the service and friendliness of the staff. From the moment we arrived we we’re pleasantly greeted and looked after. As we live in these strange times we had to use the app and we had a rewards card and a voucher and had to add to it a small balance by card.
We placed the order and something went wrong, think it was probably my fault! (Modern technology and all that) so I went to the till and the young lad at the till sorted it and took the order. His name was Okan, a real credit to your team. His patience was impeccable and made sure I was happy with everything even asked my name and made a point of coming over to say goodbye as we left.
Also A very pleasant young lady looked after us at our table upstairs. I think her name was Aleah( not sure) very attentive
I choose to write this review as I have been in a customer focused sales role for over 30 years and if I had the chance of employing these 2 people as part of my team I would have been extremely happy. Often customer facing roles are a thankless task and people never get the credit they deserve
Please pass on my gratitude to Okan & Aleah and thank them for their outstanding customer service.

Read moreAbsolutely atrocious. I ordered food from Nandos for my son and I and while it was being delivered the driver calls me and I ask him if he downstairs and I’ll come down and collect it. He then proceeds to tell me no he’s not and that he doesn’t speak English. I then call the help line as my food should have been delivered @ 9:38 and it’s now 9:45. The lady I spoke with said that she called the driver but he’s not answering. And that I should call back in a few minutes. I then called back at 9:55 and spoke with probably the same woman and she says that it’s says on the system that it has been delivered. Delivered where. Outside she says. Well I’m outside and I don’t see him or my order and if he did leave it outside I’m terribly disappointed because why is my food outside. The long and short of it. I never got my food and I’ll be refunded it 2-3 days. RUDE!!!
PLEASE USE PEOPLE THAT UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE SO THEY CAN COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS AND NOT LEAVE THEM AND THEIR CHILD HUNGRY
