I have to admit I’m upset with my experience here.
First thing was they forgot to bring my drink order so when the food arrived I went up and let them know I ordered a drink too (edit: it wasn't bottomless fizzy drinks).
Second, they brought me the wrong main. Notified a waitress, she asked if I customised it, I said no and showed the receipt. A few minutes later my main arrived, it was cold and still not correct. At this point I didn’t say anything as was very hungry so just started eating it.
I totally understand that people make mistakes sometimes which is why I didn’t say anything. Letting them know about the missing drink and the wrong main were very pleasant and friendly exchanges and they addressed those immediately.
The thing that upset me was the third and final one, that when my companion finished eating, the waitress came and cleared the table and took my plate whilst I was still clearly eating. She did not ask if I was done, she just started clearing the table. At this point and after twice having to mention something about my order already I just didn’t want to say anything more and wanted out of there. I said thank you as she finished clearing the table, she didn’t say anything nor look at either of us, no acknowledgement of us at all and I just found this whole final thing extremely rude.

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the service I received at your old street branch. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing due to the behaviour of a staff member named Shahid.
From the moment I interacted with him, Shahid’s manner was unprofessional. He spoke to me in a condescending and dismissive tone, and his body language made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. When I asked a simple question about my order, he responded abruptly and rolled his eyes. At one point, he even raised his voice at me in front of other customers, which I found both humiliating and unacceptable.
I expect a certain level of courtesy and professionalism when dining at Nando’s, and this experience fell far below that standard. It left me feeling disrespected and reluctant to return to this branch.

Read moreProbably the worst Nandos I’ve been to. There was a bad smell radiating, especially around the drinks machines. Some of the staff were having really loud conversations and cussing next to people eating which was bizarre and unprofessional…
The woman serving me was really nice, professional and helpful though. She’s probably the only good part of this Nandos. The manager was nice too.
The chicken was DRY as hell. I like my chicken slightly overdone (didn’t ask for it to be overdone fyi) but this was on a whole new level. It was like chewing thick cardboard. I couldn’t even see the wing on my chicken because it was so shrivelled up. I had another order to go and that chicken was cooked perfectly though so I guess they’re just inconsistent with the cooking. I’m not sure why though since there was hardly anyone in the Nandos - so they weren’t exactly rushed off their feet.
