If I could leave 0 stars, I would. What an absolute shambles.
Starters, all they had to get right was 5 slices of halloumi. But they couldn't even get that right. It was freezing. So we sent it back. Then it came back a few minutes later hot, but as if it had been thrown against the wall a few times first. Bare in mind, it was 40min-an hour before we even got that.
Then waiting about another 20-25 minutes for 3 meals. But only one came. the edge of the chicken breast was cold but thankfully Luke warm in the middle. I didn't want to wait another 25 minutes for another disappointing 'replacement'.
Whilst I'm halfway through, I nearly choked on these scraps which I believe are shavings of bone but the guy tells me it's chicken 🤨 ok. (Pictured) The only reason the guy was at our table in the first place is because he was delivering the burger... Again... Which I was halfway through eating. Turns out, it was meant for another table that had all eaten their food bar from one poor soul who was still awaiting his burger even though all his pals had ate their meals.
Amongst all of this, multiple people complaining of cold food, groups of friends getting orders 20-25 minutes apart by which time the rest of the group had finished their meal, and some even requesting refunds.
Whilst people are sat in the restaurant eating their food... 3 large, very full, dustbins are wheeled through the centre of the tables. Which I find disgustingly unhygienic, and even more so when they're due to close soon, surely they could wait?!
And to top it ALLLLLL off. When the other 2 members of my table FINALLY get their food (after I've already finished) they're offered a complimentary drink. A party of 3, and 2 people are offered a complimentary drink for the mess ups for the last hour and half?! Not that I'm that bothered about a free drink, but that just takes the biscuit.
Gladly, will NEVER visit here again. And I would advise you not to also. Dare make a complaint and the wait staff roll their eyes as they walk off. Top notch...
Read moreI visited the Nandos Vauxhall branch as my friends and I usually do for Sunday lunch… it was one bad experience after the other.
I personally will not visit this Nandos again the staff are rude and unprofessional. Both the manager and his staff clearly do not want to be there! These individuals have no place in the hospitality industry not welcoming or helpful to say the least.
I and my table ordered my meal using the usual QR system to our shock it was brought to us by a colleague who did not speak a word of English as she openly admitted this to us as she slammed our food on the table leaving us to figure out which meal we had ordered and what meal was brought to the table.
This was not the worst part (unfortunately) I purchased a drink which usually come as a refillable glass cup. I approached a staff member about the delivery of this glass cup, he causally suggested he was looking for a glass and would deliver it to my table as he sluggishly walked away with no aim of satisfying my request. After a few minutes I decided to go to the front desk to enquire personally and I was given the same “we will bring a glass to you, we have run out from the front awaiting washed glasses to be delivered”. After some more time I went again to the front requesting whether glasses had been delivered from the kitchen where I was shocked to see a staff member rinsing a used glass cup using the taps behind the till clearly with the aim of delivering it to my table. At this point I was shocked and quite frankly scared that they would have delivered a used and unclean glass cup to the public (clearly food hygiene training was wasted on these individuals)
DONT VISIT THIS PLACE!!!! Likely to leave with food poisoning and if your lucky just bad...
Read moreThe food is usually consistent at Nando’s, but today, the food was pretty bland and lacking seasoning. Even so, I wouldn’t have left a review if it wasn’t for the poor service. When my husband and I arrived, there were a few free seats, including a two-seater table and a booth. We were initially told to sit at the two-seater table, but we asked if we could sit at the booth as we saw another couple sitting at a different booth. The female manager (?) on shift with a black shirt and hair tied up told us we couldn’t sit there as it was “reserved” for four people. Though we could see a couple sitting at a different booth, we didn’t argue because we genuinely thought it was reserved. A few minutes later, another couple arrived and were given the booth we wanted. We thought they were waiting for two more people to come but realised they were just two people when their food arrived, and they started to eat without any other company. Again, we provided the benefit of the doubt as the other two people could have cancelled last minute. Since we have a work lunch the following day, we decided to reserve a table of 7. When we got to the counter to book, we were told very clearly that Nando’s don’t take reservations, which means the manager lied to us. I’m not sure why she lied to us, but we couldn’t help but feel discriminated against as we were the only couple that were not Caucasian. We have been going to Nando’s for years and have never been unhappy with the service, but this is the first time that the food and the service have...
