As food chains go this one is beautifully designed perfectly located and well staffed. On entrance we were greeted by a very enthusiastic member of staff in a very Americanised manner, over excited and loud, but and it’s a big but, she was nice and polite. We were ushered to our table and directed to use the QR code to order our food. Now we have two points of view about this visit, my son said he would have preferred the personal touch the more human approach and did not enjoy the experience of not ordering directly to a real person. I on the other hand can kind of understand what he meant but was ok with the way I ordered the food. I scanned the QR code and ordered and paid for the food via Apple Pay. The food arrived quite quickly and was as ordered. My son again complained that he would have liked someone to tell him where the plates and sauces were. So in a matter of minutes we had three members of staff including the manager asks us if everything was ok. Being British it felt a bit much, but actually they were very polite. The food was as always was consistent so chicken is chicken, not much to talk about here. The restaurant is very modern and spacious and there was a mixture of age groups and families eating in. The decor is well designed and interesting. They have plenty of space inside and outside under parasols but today it was raining and a bit cold so no one outside. It’s located in a partly pedestrianised area and parking is difficult. All in all great place professional staff and good food.

Now don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love a Nando’s. But Walthamstow Nando’s? never coming back. It’s definitely a one time visit thing. first of all, the neglect. The tables are left with crumbs and dirt all over. I had to wipe down my chair in front of my server and they offered no help or anything - simply watched me wipe down a disgusting chair. not to mention the dead flies (and alive ones) on the windowsill. weird stains on the floors and chipped tables definitely add to the neglect. secondly: the atmosphere. This is the worst Nando’s atmosphere ever, just loud chaotic and feels way too bright and open. children screaming from all angles and it definitely takes away from the traditional feel it’s meant to have. once again: I love Nando’s usually but this is so bad I have to say this. Third: the service. Service was okay, just a bit slow and rushed - not to mention the chaos. however this is explained by a Sunday rush so it’s understandable. The women’s toilets are disgusted and desperately need to be fixed. toilets with no working locks and toilet paper everywhere? this tells me everything i need to know! However on a partially positive note the food was quite nice. it’s the same as all nando’s and nothing stuck out as amazing or special. Plus their amazing help with allergens are great. bottom line is that if you want to go to a nando’s go anywhere but Walthamstow. its disgusting.

It's been a while since going to Nandos but apparently the butterfly burger does not come with with the bread to make it a burger! Yet still costs an arm and leg. The chips were dry yes you can see peri salted chips but what an earth is going on. It's McDonald's quality food at restraunt prices. Won't be going back again the method to order food and get into the Nandos is just ridiculous. I had to sit there for a good 5-10 mins whilst I create an account and get my bank card out on the table! Typing in all the details. whilst eating constantly got people literally running around like headless chickens being shouted at by managers I'm trying to eat my overpriced bunless burger!

Went to nandos on Saturday with a few friends and the experience overall could've been better. The food arrived however one person was waiting for over half an hour for their meal, we asked a staff member for help and suddenly it appears straight away and we saw it sitting on the pass. I also received slightly undercooked chicken which gave me really bad food poisoning, I couldn't go to work the next day, and extremely painful abdomen cramps. I didn't even notice until I had gone through three quarters of my burger. It's ruined my favourite meal for me now. The usual salt, pepper and nandos seasoning wasn't stocked up by the sauces so we had to eat corn on the cob unsalted, which isn't an issue but we personally prefer it salted. We also ordered bottomless ice cream, we were given the paper cup but the ice cream machine wasn't operating. We asked for a refund and had to wait 20 minutes to be given a cash refund when we initially paid with card.

This experience was out of the usual because I usually have a great experience with this branch of nandos, so it was a bit of a let down and...
