Great Atmosphere, But The Signature Falooda and Inconsistent Service Need Major Improvement recently visited Arya Bhavan based on its fantastic atmosphere and reputation, but unfortunately, the experience- specifically the dessert and the service execution-fell short of expectations. Atmosphere (5/5 Stars) The restaurant's ambiance is truly its strongest asset. The interior is modern, bright, and very inviting. The seating is comfortable, and the decor, including the stylish lighting fixtures, gives it a premium feel. It's an excellent space for relaxed meal, and ful credit goes to the management for creating such a pleasant dining environment. Service (2/5 Stars) This was the most problematic part of our visit. While the staff was generally polite, the operational execution was poor and exhibited noticeable inconsistencies: 1. Order Confusion & Delays: After placing our order at the table, a different server approached us about 10 minutes later asking if we had already ordered. This suggests that the initial order was either not promptly entered or was completely lost in the system, forcing us to wait even longer. We waited an unacceptable 25 minutes in total just for a simple dessert, the Special Falooda. The initial hustle to take the order did not match the effort to deliver it quickly. 2. Inconsistent Prioritization: While we were waiting, we observed a lady (who appeared to be part of the management, working on reports on a laptop in a corner) leave her duties to serve a particular table twice. With multiple servers and a floor manager present, seeing a manager-level person prioritize a single table over ensuring all other customers' long-delayed orders (like ours) were being processed quickly gave a distinct feeling of favoritism or misplaced priorities, which did not feel good. The combined issues of order loss/delay and the perceived inconsistent attention significantly detracted from the experience. Food- The Special Falooda (2s Stars) This is where the product itself was most disappointing. We specifically chose the costliest falooda on the menu, the "Special Falooda" (priced at £7.95), expecting a truly premium and substantial dessert worthy of the price. 1. Cheap Presentation: The dessert was served in a cheap-feeling plastic cuplglass, which was surprising and frankly disappointing given the premium ambiance of the restaurant and the price of the item.It felt likea low-cost takeaway item rather than a premium, sit-down dining experience. 2. False Filling: The cup seemed strategically packed tO create the illusion of fullness. It was dominated by large pieces of cut fruit and minimal ice cream at the top, which takes up a lot of space. There was a significant lack of the core components of a great faloodathe actual milk, sabja (basil seeds), and sevai (vermicelli)-needed to deliver the rich, traditional flavor. It felt like a "false hope" dessert, more focused on height and volume than quality and substance. The overall result was an item that did not justify the high price point or the "Special" designation on the menu. Overall (2/5 Stars) While the atmosphere is top-notch, the combination of extremely slow/confused service, perceived inconsistent customer prioritization, and the poor value of the signature dessert significantly brought down the final score. If Arya Bhavan could improve their operational efficiency and ensure their higher-priced menu items are served with premium presentation and genuine substance, the overall dining experience would truly match the excellent atmosphere. hope this constructive feedback helps the team make necessary adjustments. Horrible Experience!!! I Order food from Uber Eats today specially for my daughter, so I mentioned in the comment while ordering it that please make it mild, my order was as follows:- 2 North Indian Thali's 1 Masala Dosa 1 Plain Dosa. After Ordering it, exactly at 03:21pm I received a call from Mr. Doshi or Mr. Joshi Saravanan Bhavan stating that its normal thali only, so I asked whether kids can eat or not and he asked how old is my daughter after finding the age (12) he said yes will be fine. (Phone Recording available if required) After receiving the parcel, my daughter hardly able to eat two bites because everything in the thali was too much spicy, Initially we thought it would be just one curry spicy so I asked my wife to eat and as an adult she couldn't even eat too. Hence I called to uber eat back and they asked me to call the restaurant directly so at 05:28pm called back and luckily the same guy picked up the call and started saying that we can't make it mild as all the curries are prepared in advance we are not making live thali and it normal spicy only. I explained that if one curry is spicy, I can understand but each and every curries are spicy, in-fact yogurt raita was also having chili pieces, Mr. Doshi or Joshi said, sir please give some time, I'll call you back in few minutes and refund your amount back or re-order it for you.(Phone Recording available if required) After few minutes he called up back and said we checked with kitchen our thali is not spicy at all, we haven't received any complaint, and they were literally like giggling in back while replying and said try order next time. (Phone Recording available if required) Unfortunately, My family couldn't even eat piece fully, we haven't opened the second Thali as well (see the attached image) moreover the way of behaviour that I received from restaurant guy, it pissed me off completely so thought to give my review to make other aware. I've attached the Photos (One Thali Opened and another Packed) Can provide video as well if required. This is really horrible experience I had, please beware!

My favourite Restaurant in around the area. Brilliant food. Been a long term customer coming over the years. Just disappointed they don’t have designated waiting area if the restaurant is full. The staff lacked empathy on my visit tonight as requested to stand outside until our time comes. Imagine coming here with your family and kids in winter. Shockingly the toilet hasn’t been cleaned for more than 2 days. Imagine if there is an inspection here- you guys just failed the Audit. After watching this - there will nothing more be left for inspectors to check. I am a regular in this place and absolutely love the food so I hope the review is taken positive and as a learning curve and hope to see improvement in my next visit. Updated review: Expecting to see the improvement followed by the last visit- I visited this place again today. As soon as we entered we were allotted a table- kudos to that however we waited for 25 minutes and not one person came to serve us- not even anyone is bothered to hand out the menu. We kept on watching new customers walking in and being served. Got a seven year old boy waiting for food but nothing happened. The restaurant was not even crowded. The worst side of today’s visit is - I can see the waiters standing and talking right behind me but still no one bothered to see this is a new family that just came, at least greet and hand out the menu. Nothing happened. We then walked out and while walking out I did mention to the lady in the reception about how terrible the service was - not a word of apology. It was like you don’t really care when customers are just walking out. My favourite restaurant but I’m never walking in again. Shame on you and team.

RUDE and ARROGANT MALE MANAGER

Our experience in this restaurant was atrocious from start to finish

We ordered 2 chana bhature, one masala dosa, baby corn 65 and a veggie Hakka noodles.

The food took a long time to arrive. The Chana Bhature came out first. The Chole were tinned Chole and mixed in a butter masala gravy- not authentic of typical Chole sabji. By the time we received the veggie Hakka noodles the rest of us had finished our chana bhature.

The manager also had a poor attitude. On the menu next to each items, allergens are listed in brackets. My sister order the veggie Hakka noodles as she did not want this with onions- next to the veggie Hakka noodles is listed a (J) which universally means this is a Jain dish. When you go to McDonald’s and it states (V) next to a burger you automatically know this will be suitable for vegetarian- you don’t need to ask. The dish arrived with spring onions. We asked the waiter we did not want onions and it had a (J) listed next to this so should not have been added. The waiter then asked the manager to speak to us.

The manager was a male person- very rude and arrogant. He stated it was our fault and in his own words ‘ I have 4 branches I know what I am talking about’. He did not offer to replace the dish at all so we cancelled the order.

My sister was left hungry and due to it being late at night we tried to order another set of noodles ourselves as a take away without onions.

THE MANAGER REFUSED to make another portion of noodles even though we stated we would pay for this. He then claims he did offer to replace the dish initially but we cancelled the order. To reiterate the manager DID NOT offer to make another noodle dish initially and walked off when we initially tried to relay our concerns.

I could not believe the manager was displaying this kind of behaviour especially during navratri.

If you read the rest of the reviews on this page the replies are all the same - copy and pasted and claims they will take this feedback on board which clearly the restaurant has not.

I wish the manager all the best in running his four branches as he clearly is not doing a very good job of it and has poor customer service skills.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wishes to attend. There are plenty of other choices in Wembley/Ealing where your custom...

Title: A Dining Disaster – Avoid at All Costs!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at arya Bhavan, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, the service was abysmal, the food was late, and the entire experience left much to be desired.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a disinterested host who seemed overwhelmed and unorganized. After a lengthy wait for our table—despite having a reservation—we were finally seated, only to be ignored for several minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. When our server finally approached, they seemed rushed and reluctant to answer our questions about the menu.

After placing our orders, we expected a reasonable wait time for our food. However, we waited over 45 minutes just for appetizers! When they finally arrived, they were lukewarm and lacked flavor. It was clear that the kitchen was either understaffed or poorly managed, as we noticed other tables also experiencing long delays.

As our hunger grew, we remained optimistic about the main courses. Unfortunately, this optimism was short-lived. Another long wait ensued, and when the food finally arrived, half of the orders were incorrect. My partner received a completely different dish, and my own meal was cold and unappetizing. When we brought this to the server’s attention, they seemed indifferent, simply offering to have the correct dish made without any apology or urgency.

At this point, our excitement had turned into disappointment. We attempted to flag down the manager, but they were nowhere to be found. It was clear that customer service was not a priority here. After what felt like an eternity, we finally decided to cut our losses and asked for the check—only to discover that we had been charged for the incorrect dish as well!

Leaving restaurant felt like a relief. It’s hard to believe that a restaurant could manage to miss the mark on so many levels. I would strongly advise anyone thinking about dining here to reconsider. There are countless other establishments that prioritize their customers and serve quality food. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment—avoid [Restaurant Name]...
