Oakberry's acai bowls are probably the best in London. I was skeptical at first, since it is a chain, but they far surpass other acai offerings in Central London. Oakberry's acai has the best texture and unlike other acai places, it is not overly frozen or with a weird after taste. They have a huge range of toppings as well, including several different kinds of granola, fresh fruit, and three different types of nut butter (including cashew, one of the few places you can get it in London). They have chia pudding as a topping, which I was initially unsure of, but which is a really good addition (unfortunately, I do not like the matcha one, which they do in partnership with Jenki, but other people seem to). They also have something called pacquito (I think?) which is like a peanut butter candy almost?, which you can put on your acai bowl or I think buy separately (I have not gotten it, but they gave me a free sample, and I've been meaning to buy more!).

Everything is prepared fresh and customisable for dietary intolerances and preferences (or if you're just picky). The acai bowls are served parfait style, which is pretty, and presentation tends to be good too. They have a variety of sizes from small to absolutely massive. The prices are cheap too, considering it's London and that the quality is amazing (I think they even do a student discount? I haven't asked for it/about it, but I have been given it?)

The customer service is also AMAZING! I have been here several times now, as I am a student at the nearby university. I wish I remembered the names of the employees who served me, but everyone from the manager to the various staff members, who served me have been absolutely lovely! They answer questions, give recommendations, and have a strong attention to detail when preparing orders. The staff are super patient, kind, and friendly even when the store is busy. It's also sweet that they remember regulars and our orders (like me!) and give us a warm welcome when we come in.

The place is very clean and it is clear that food hygiene is militantly followed (this is really confidence inspiring given the lack of food hygiene at many of the places nearby). Seating is limited upstairs, but there is a whole downstairs area too. The decor is a bit cheap looking, but I guess that is to be expected, and although I did deduct a few points the "atmosphere" score for that, this does not matter too much, since it is clean, and everything else about Oakberry is great! Though, I think the decor really contributes to the chain feel and some people's initial reluctance to the place?)

I have gotten in the habit of getting the same two or three things, because they are so good (crunchy, add peanut butter, sub crunchy granola), but menu offerings are infinite and I need to try more. I hope they do more seasonal offerings in the future or other similar products like a pink pitaya bow, or a green smoothie bowl? The one weak point is their smoothies, so I hope they broaden their range there.

All in all, I love Oakberry and I'm glad to have such a delicious, friendly place near my...

Well, I never thought I was going to write a negative review about this place. But after my experience today, this was a complete circus. I've been to this place several times due to the clinic where I work being very close, my mum and I love Acai and we have tried many Acai from different companies but this was by far my favourite, and I wanted my mum to try this place. I moved jobs a few months ago and I haven't been here for a while. But today was the perfect summer day to take my mum to try my favourite acai.

Due to the weather, a few people were waiting for their orders so we knew we might be waiting a while for ours but we understood. We both ordered medium to large cups (work) with peanut butter, granola, bananas and one of them had strawberries. The service to that point was standard when we received our orders I was so surprised to see that the acai that had the banana had only 3 small slices of banana and the acai that had banana and strawberry had 2 small slices of banana and half!!! Not even a whole strawberry but half of a small strawberry cut into 3 small pieces, when I brought this to the table my mum looked at me like is this all the fruit they put on the acai? I honestly don't like to complain so I just didn't want to ask for more fruit I just thought maybe they changed their policies and they are giving out less fruit.

To our surprise my mum's acai had no granola, well it did but, my mum could not find it, when I brought this to the counter I told them that I ordered the acai with granola one of the girls took the cup and put it above her head and started to analyse it and said “Look see there's granola in there you just have to fish it out” When she said that I was in disbelief not just because I knew that there was no granola but because my mum tried to find it on the cup with no luck, not only that the women pointed at a small grain of granola poking out and thought that's was reasonable.

She looked at me frustrated and with a very bad attitude told me she would make a new one also to clarify the granola on my acai was so little I couldn't believe how things had changed in the last few months, again don't know if there policies changed and they giving less of everything now. We got our order but I just didn't enjoy it after that and to make it more ironic there was a social media person from the company making some content and the acai that was being used for the social Maida was full of strawberries, bananas and you could see the layers between the acai and the granola just as the one I had a few months before no like ours that it was 95% acai.

Honestly, this left a very bad taste, sadly my mum did not like the place I thought had the best acai but I also lost my...

I love Acai bowls and have been a huge fan of OAKBERRY ever since I tried them in Lisbon. I’ve brought friends to this branch and come occasionally when I have a chance. However, I cannot help but notice that the quality has dropped comparing it to when they opened up. Today I went for ‘the works’ with ‘unlimited’ toppings (£12.50) and the bowl felt very empty and light as soon as I grabbed it. There was a bunch of granola at the middle, the Acai was watery and the fruit toppings were a joke (see photos). The staff just called out ‘works bowl’ and didn’t even mentioned my name. The customer service was so warm and friendly before! Sadly, it’s not the first time I’ve felt this. In a previous visit another customer had to ask members of staff to put more Acai in her bowl cos it was not even filled to the top. Bittersweet cos I didn’t mind paying the price, but the quality has dropped and there are many new shops selling better quality Acai bowls in London.

I had such a fantastic experience at Oakberry Açaí, all thanks to one of the incredible team members working there. From the moment I walked in, they were so friendly and welcoming — it really made my day! Not only were they super helpful in guiding me through the menu and helping me pick the perfect bowl, but their energy and kindness genuinely stood out. You can tell they truly care about their customers and love what they do. The service was fast, the place was spotless, and my açaí bowl was delicious. Honestly, they made the entire experience so enjoyable — I can’t wait to come back! Shoutout to this amazing team member for going above and beyond. 🌟👏

I ordered the original size, gave my toppings, and quickly went to the bathroom. The down stairs has more seating which is nice. When I came my order was ready for me and I was a little disappointed. I’m not sure if the person was new but there was barely any fruit on top, but instead a hefty amount of honey. The girls at the counter were having their own conversation so I took my açaí and left. To pay £11 to barely have any fruit was a little shocking and disappointing. I know Oakberry has a higher standard of service so I’m not sure. Maybe I came on an off day.
