Rarely leave reviews but felt the need to after having such a negative experience largely down to the individual member of staff taking orders.
I placed an order for a truffle Pasta dish which is vegetarian. The venue is very loud and the person taking orders does not speak English as a first language making it very difficult to understand him. I thought he repeated what I had said back to him when placing the order to confirm what I wanted - so I said yes. When I came to collect my food I was given a dish which had bacon, mushrooms and truffle which had been added. When I told him that's not what I ordered he became very argumentative and told me that I should have told him I was vegetarian. Why would I need to explain that when I ordered a dish which is vegetarian??
I accepted responsibility that there had been a misunderstanding in what he said when I ordered and apologised for my part in that - however what I am really unhappy with is the fact that he did not apologise for his part in the misunderstanding or the fact that as it transpired I had been overcharged an extra £5 for every topping they had available and did not offer me any kind of refund.
I then had to stand for 15 minutes watching them serve numerous customers (some who had ordered the same dish I ordered) until I lost my patience and asked how much longer it would be.
Pasta was OK but a small portion and absolutely not worth the £20 I ended up paying - nor the £15 it was supposed to cost. Other customers queueing were also shocked at the way I was spoken to. Worst customer service I've experienced in...

Molto suggestivo...
