Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in London

No large Pizza should cost £20, especially not bulk bought from large companies like this. The price was fairer with the 50% off over £20, which has slyly gone up to £25... The pizzas are decent and delivery is usually fast as we live close, but for the prices and quality of food this is way over priced. They have a good vegan range now which I appreciate, but still £21.99 for a large pizza is extortionate and I wish people would start calling places like this/dominoes/Pizza Hut etc out on their excessive prices. Jackfruit is by far the cheapest of meat replacements and although it tastes nice, it is once again over priced. I have tried to take their internal survey, but their site is down... Yesterday’s order was left too long from cooking to our door so we have the hard cooked cheese that had now cooled and solidified, which really shows the level of basic ingredients that are being used. Calling a tub of butter with a hint of garlic “special garlic sauce” and not offering a proper garlic dip or anything unless you pay a ridiculous price for more separate tiny plastic to throw away is beyond basic these days. It’s garlic butter, and it’s very sickly. I also don’t agree with companies promoting violent games such as CoD when I’ve never seen them promote healthy, ethical or ecological eating. Finally they promise contact-free delivery, but our driver had no PPE on and I had to step back inside my doorway to even ensure 1m distance,...

Vegans, stay away! Order from here often, and normally there's a few discrepancies like missing dips or wrong base sauce. As a vegan I really liked their menu. Ordered the usual, and received dairy cheese on the pizza? My partner and I are both badly lactose intolerant and it's quite easy after 5+ years being vegan to taste dairy cheese. I called the store, explained the problem and the "store manager" proceeded to just outright deny it? She said instead "we have a new recipe as of last week"...but there's been no marketing for this, no mention on their nutrition information? So... No apology, no compensation or offer of a replacement? As a chef, and member of the hospitality sector, this is unacceptable and simply the incorrect method of customer service. Terrible customer understanding. They had the audacity to say they made my ALL THE MEATS (removed bacon and sausage, added pineapple, chicken and Italian sausage) pizza correctly. Order 63736983

But you can clearly see that there is no pepperoni under the cheese.They put different meats by mistake. I called up to ask for a replacement but they refused to have photos and suggested we return the pizza in order to prove it because the employee said it was made properly. Clearly not. You could even hear the employee stating that it was a lie and that it wasn't wrong over the phone. Outrageous.

If they had more understanding, they would have cooked a new one and replaced the incorrect for it to be returned...
