We don’t come here often as we live far away, but it was one of my son’s favourite places as a child.

We went back today to eat in. The place looked clean, our order was taken quickly and the staff were very friendly to the regulars that were coming in. When they delivered the drinks, they got the flavour of my son’s milkshake wrong. I took it back and politely explained that he had ordered a different flavour. She looked at me as if we were the ones that got the order wrong not her, just said okay and shrugged her shoulders. She bought the right flavour back but was not apologetic and in fact the total opposite like we had put her out.

When our meals came, they had also got the portion of our mozzarella sticks side dish wrong, but after the milkshake incident and how surly the waitress was we really didn’t feel comfortable raising it. My bean burger was lovely, my son‘s quarter pounder was also good but his chips were very bland. Despite the poor service, I did leave a tip, for which the waitress did not look at all grateful so I wished we hadn’t bothered. Sadly, I think that will be our last visit. I’d rather go to a Wimpy where you don’t have to be a regular for the staff to be friendly and get your order right! Also, for what we had, it was too expensive, they have really put...

A Wimpy Wonderland – Retro Feels & Proper Feeds!

If you're craving comfort food with a side of nostalgia, run (don’t walk) to this Wimpy! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was pure retro joy, like the late '80s had been lovingly preserved just for us. Vinyl booths, the sizzle of the griddle, and that iconic Wimpy smell… it was a throwback dream.

We tucked into the Ultimate Griddle. A hearty plate packed with all the breakfast-style goodness you could want and the Cheeseburger with the Bendy Frankfurter Sausage, which was a total flavour bomb and a real nod to old-school Wimpy greatness. Everything tasted freshly cooked, comforting, and satisfying in the best way.

And let’s talk about the Strawberry Milkshake with Ice Cream, thick, creamy, and full of childhood joy. It was basically dessert in a cup and we loved every last sip.

The staff were fantastic, friendly, attentive, and full of positive energy. Their service made the experience feel like a special occasion.

Honestly? This Wimpy didn’t just serve food — it served feelings. Five stars, hands down...with a 80s playlist soundtrack!!...

I would have given this place 2.5 stars but there wasn't an option to do so. It's been a long time since I went in a wimpy so when i discovered this place it was more for nostalgia I had to go in.. and relive my youth. The staff were friendly and welcoming but the place was very dated.. perhaps retro would be a good term and it had more the feel of a kebab shop.. just without the kebabs. It was nice to have china plates and real cutlery as opposed to plastic and take away cartons. However, the plates had the logos which looked faded as if pretty old. The food was ok.. nothing to get excited about but it was on par with an average greasy spoon restaurant. The prices seemed quite steep for what it was but I saw it as paying for nostalgia. Would I come back here? Probably not, but for anyone who's a Wimpy fan when they're so hard to find these days, id recommend it.. unless you're looking for gourmet food... It's probably an ideal spot to get...

I had always wanted to try Wimpy, but the Morden location is always empty. Today, I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The "cheesy fries" were like microwaved rocks, making them incredibly hard to chew. The burger was also disappointing, lacking flavor and quite sad-looking. I paid £13.75 for this meal, which was not worth it at all. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful. Honestly, Cottage Chicken or Morley's are much better options.
