Pepe's — Restaurant in London

If you're a fan of spicy food, then Pepe's Piri Piri restaurant at Greenwich is definitely worth a visit. From the moment you walk in, you're hit with the delicious aroma of grilled meats and spices that will make your mouth water.

The menu is full of mouthwatering options, but I highly recommend the peri peri chicken rice. The chicken is marinated in a spicy peri peri sauce that is not too overpowering, but definitely packs a punch. The meat is cooked to perfection, juicy and tender on the inside with peri peri sauce on the outside. The rice had great aroma and taste as it completes the dish and leave you feeling fully satisfied. I recommend their garlic mayo sauce as well with it.

Another standout dish is the chicken quesadilla, which is crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The peri peri sauce in the quesadilla brought the taste to another notch. And again, I recommend the garlic mayo sauce with this.

But what really sets Pepe's Piri Piri apart is the exceptional service. The staff is friendly, my man Vikki/Vicky cooked great food for me, showed great hospitality for me, the cashier Nemila was also polite and helped me out where needed, overall knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. They're happy to recommend dishes and provide information on the different spice levels, making sure you find something that suits your taste buds.

Overall, Pepe's Piri Piri is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a spice lover or just looking for a great meal, Pepe's Piri Piri Greenwich is definitely worth a visit. And by the way, this branch is way better than the other...

I went to this pepe’s in Greenwich on this Sunday. Trust me when I say that the new staff who work there now are one of the worst group of employees that have no clue on how to serve customers. I have been a regular customer for the last few years at this same restaurant and they hired some now people now and since then this restaurant has lost its standards. You will be treated with disrespect, attitude and some subtle insults. The young tall indian/asian girl who served me at the till was so full of attitude and idgaf attitude. She is partial to the customers regarding the customer’s appearance or whatever factor she is bothered about. She treats people differently and you can really feel the partiality in the way she behaves at the till. There were 3 or 4 boys working in the kitchen and all of them were nice and polite to me when i asked about my food. But this girl has no clue on how to be polite with the customers. She fakes the accent while speaking english in the worst way possible which is evident as well. and She doesn’t value the about the money and time a customer spent on their food. Never ever going back to this Pepe's again. Let's start off with how they do not have a toilet. This is extremely bad as I am a pregnant individual who needed the toilet urgently. Secondly, the food was terrible. We ordered 3x mega xl burger meals and a rice box. The burger was more dry than an old man's knees. It was so hard to swallow, I had to order 3x garlic mayo to make it edible and it was still really hard to enjoy. The chicken had no sauce on it, it was grilled on it's own!! Definitely not worth the money. I complained about the burger being dry and they simply said they can't do anything about it. Pepe's as a company should really take my review seriously as it is terrible.

In addition, my husband ordered a meal with the wrong drink by accident and when we went to change the drink, they tried to charge us an additional £0.20 when on the app there isn't any additional charges. This is quite ridiculous seen as the price of the menu in this store is more than other Pepe's I have visited.
