Caspian Sandwich Bar — Restaurant in London

⭐ 1 star We had a very disappointing experience at Caspian Sandwich Bar in Ealing. I ordered the Chicken Special Burger, but it barely had any chicken in it — just a few small pieces, which was really underwhelming. One of us had the Double Cheeseburger and it was honestly not eatable. Two of us tried it and couldn’t eat more than a bite — it was that bad. Sadly, we ended up wasting our money and leaving hungry. I even spoke to the staff and told showed and told them about the Cheeseburger but they didn’t care at all, and just told us that this is how we always make it. Hi, I just wanted to share some honest feedback. It’s been a couple of months now that I’ve been trying to place orders, but the lady currently answering the phone doesn’t speak Farsi and struggles with English as well. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem familiar with the menu and gets confused easily, which makes it difficult to communicate or place an order.

In the past, Mehdi used to handle things well and provided excellent customer service. It would really help if you could hire someone who is Iranian and fluent in both Farsi and English—someone who understands the menu and can properly assist customers.

I hate to give a 1-star review, but unfortunately, the food was just not good at all. We ordered sausage bandari, expecting something authentic, but it was far from it. There was a noticeable taste of curry powder, which didn’t belong in the dish. On the plus side, the chips were nice. However, after the meal and throughout the night, we experienced the worst stomach ache we've had in a long time.
