Pho 80 — Restaurant in London

Lovely Vietnamese restaurant in New Cross. It has a nice casual dining feel and it is relaxing. The decor is reminiscent of a Vietnamese canteen. My friend and I both ordered the special Pho. An aromatic broth filled with meats of beef brisket and chicken. The meat was tender, and the addition of the herbs, beansprouts, lime,and chilli. Great local spot - has had takeaway and eaten in at this restaurant, both really great experiences. Very generous portions and lots of choice of dishes. Love that they do roasted quail - super authentic and not often found in other Vietnamese restaurants. Everything we’ve tried has been tasty. The only reason service is 4* not 5 is that we asked if it was BYOB and were told no, but then saw other customers bring in drinks. I recently dined at this Vietnamese restaurant and was blown away by the delicious flavors and authentic dishes they serve.
