I visited this cafe with my family of 10 members who were here on a vacation from Abroad as we were on a day out to take my nephews, nieces and daughter for the children zoo in the park as a treat. Unfortunately our first stop was the Cafe as the children were hungry before we entered the zoo. We were on the queue waiting for our turn to be served. The lady who were at the customer front was not happy to serve us let alone while we were giving her the orders she ordered us that we need to wait and started serving the people who were waiting behind us.

I asked her why she had to do that without an apology , she didn’t even respond back rather ignored us. We waited until she finishs the queue and asked her for her name again she refused and lastly we asked for the manager, she said he is not around until Thursday with again ignorant tone.

We refused to move with out speaking to the manager or her to give us her name. She totally ignored us of our existence. My nephews started crying because of the situation and being unable to get their food.

We waited for More than 20 min until she starts calling the manager over the phone. He told her that he can’t be there. She again told us that he is not around and ignored us again. We refused to move because of her behaviour and the way she treated us was unforgivable. We again insisted for the manager to come and speak to us then she told us that she is calling a police and she did.

Two police officers arrived after sometime. They approached her to ask her what was the issue about. I can hear her giving them her resason that we were there standing shouting on her for no resason. The police man asked her if she did serve anyone on our turn. She said yes but only did one customer cause we didn’t know what we wanted.

Then the policemen approached us and greeted, asked for our side of the story. I explained to him how she treated us with no respect, ignorance and anger. We Informed them that she refused neither to give her name nor call the manager. The police officers were extremely gave attenstion for the situation and he even apologised for what had happened. He was very kind that he even offered to treat the whole family for an ice cream. And he did. ā€˜Thank you officer!’ He promised us that he make sure to contact the manger and pass the issue on behalf of us.

All in all, what I want to say is that the lady ruined our family day out just from the start. We don’t want anyone to exprence these kind of treatment as a customer specially being with your kids around.

I will leave the rest for the decision for the review readers. Regards...

Honestly, the positive reviews must be a poor attempt at humour. Or of the wrong place. I live in the area and walk my dog in the park every day. Occasionally I make the mistake of going back to this ā€œcafĆ©ā€ (even typing those words make me cringe) in the hope that the owners have finally fired the staff there, or they have gone back their previous jobs serving food at HM Wakefield high security prison. Last time, I very politely asked to have the hot dog bun toasted a bit more. You would have thought I had asked the chap to carve his own eyeball out with a straw. ā€œWhy, it’s fine as it isā€ he said. So sorry to trouble you, how silly of me, your’re right. For Ā£5 I should expect nothing more that a skanky tepid days old bit of bread and a dirty water dog. Today, I went in quest of a panini. ā€œWhat kind of paninis do you serveā€ I asked timidly. ā€œIn the case, there. next!ā€ And he went on to accost I mean serve another customer. In the case there was nothing identifiable as a panini. Trust me on that one. So I asked again. His cell mate said ā€œthere it says right on it. You should know what a panini looks like anyway!ā€ And they chortled to one another. Thinking i must be blind, i looked and looked and there was no word ā€œpaniniā€ on anything. I pointed that out to Bonnie and Clyde and I was sworn at — in front of families and children. Truly disgusting. 100% for real.... I was so polite to them and they were the most foul people I’ve come across, anywhere, in any situation let alone a ā€œserviceā€ business. The same guys working there each time I’ve been, so I assume others are talking about these fellows. You almost could not make it up. I left, but stood by and observed them operated for a while, and watched them ruin the otherwise sun-filled day of others who I saw and heard be on the receiving end of foul abuse. I have written to the park and to wandworth council to complain. I’m thinking of staging an...

Do not go here ever! I cannot post this without giving a star or I would give his place zero stars. Terrible experience that ruined my afternoon whilst I was volunteering for charity. The man serving was the rudest man I have ever encountered and verbally attacked me when I questioned my change, which was incorrect. Firstly he did not give me the ice cream I had ordered but a more expensive one (with flake, which I had not wanted), but as it was in a cone I didn't really complain as he couldn't take it back. He then proceeded to give me too little change, and started shouting at me about it whilst doing the calculation which proved he had indeed not given me the right change. I didn't challenge him about it rudely but as it was not even me paying (but an elderly disabled lady) I had to query the lack of correct change on her behalf as I was trying to work out the cost and why she had got so little change. The whole time this was happening he was verbally abusing me. And I would add that I did not even ask that he charge me for what I had ordered, rather than what he incorrectly gave me, as I didn't dare. So it was already more expensive than what I had ordered/wanted, but even aside from that the change was incorrect for the more expensive product he had given me! This all sounds very petty as I write this but the verbal abuse continued as I walked by to the elderly lady in her wheelchair, for no reason, and was upsetting, especially as it took place in front of a queue full of people, one of whom defended me and also got shouted at. I have never complained or written a bad review of anyone online but it was a dreadful and upsetting...

Terrible experience! I parking my car on car park , less change on my pocket, One pond less only! I saw a coffee point so I went there for a coffee and get some change , I give they £5 and they give my £2.30 change, when I put money on my pocket and I want one more banana for my kid, I give £5 note again because I don't want to look my bag to find a coin again, and they was give back my note and ask me to find coin, I told them that is fine , I will not buy bananas, and them talking with each other, The boss shouting : Yes! You are right, she want change for parking , this is my moneys!!! I just went to my car did not say anything , because I am not rude person. But I am so angry, Excuse me!!!Did I steal your money or did I not paid anything ? If you don't want give me change , I have nothing to complain about , that is your business, can you stop shouting to anyone , especially yourrrrr customer!!!!!!

I visited Pier Point Cafe recently and my experience was mediocre at best. The cafe's ambiance was pleasant, but the prices were exorbitant, especially the coffee which cost £10.30 for two cups. The taste of the coffee was disappointing and nothing out of the ordinary. I expected a more memorable flavor considering the price. The service was average, nothing exceptional to mention. On a positive note, the location was convenient and the staff was polite, although that didn't compensate for the steep prices and lackluster taste. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Pier Point Cafe to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and flavorful coffee experience. There are better options available in the area for a more satisfying coffee indulgence.

After not having any oat milk, I decided to order a black coffee. When I went to collect my coffee, the lid had not been put on properly and boiling hot coffee spilled all over my hand. The lid not being on properly didn’t bother me as much as the blatant lack of care from the staff. I screamed out in pain as I had just been scalded, but I was the one who had to ask the staff for water/ tissues despite them clearly seeing me in pain. They didn’t get me any water/ medical attention so I had to go to a public bathroom to cool my burn and find first aid elsewhere. A day later, this is what my hand looks like from the burns. Would not recommend.
