Had the worst possible shopping experience imaginable on the 04/05/23. This was due largely in part to the constant following by security and staff and the rather overbearing and constant pressure from one of the staff in particular.
This girl, who wore a beige coloured hijab, appeared out of nowhere and began “helping” my brother and I look for items despite us being in the section we were looking for, the employee then questioned my reasoning for wanting to buy a winter jacket in the summer, it’s not summer everywhere in the world. Once I had chosen my items and brought them to the checkout I was asked for the 50th time whether or not I needed help. Having worked in retail before, I’m well aware of the fact that “do you need any help” is shorthand for “you look suspect and we’d like to determine your reason for being here”
As someone who suffers from autism is was very difficult being repeatedly questioned and harassed whilst trying to completely a simple shopping trip. I led the store with 130 pounds worth of clothes however my treatment in the store means I’ll never return as a customer.
Uniqlo staff do not know how to accommodate to disabled customers.

Read moreUNIQLO RETAIL SCAM!! I picked up a discounted item in a rack that said “Discount will be applied at the till”. I checked several times to make sure they were really part of the discounted rack because my experience I had several experiences in Uniqlo where the item was in fact not discounted when paying. And this time, Uniqlo never fails to disappoint me. I knew that it was another scam!! There was no discount applied at the till because they said “the item was misplaced” even though there were several staff organising clothes around that rack. UNIQLO, THIS ISN’T THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED TO ME. AND OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME. IS THIS THE VALUE OF THE JAPANESE UNIQLO BRAND NOW????
Also, the white shirt was stained by a pen in the till which I only noticed when I arrived home. UNIQLO, please pay your staff the right wage so CUSTOMERS LIKE US WON’T SUFFER WITH...
Read moreLove Uniqlo items just think as a shopper the condition and rules for this store in particular is not gonna be useful for those on a run and need a quick pick up. Reducing its own foot traffic by preventing Individuals coming to shop, as you cannot bring drinks in to shop. It’s not like there items are been worth 1000$ that I could spill my coffee on their items and not afford it. Trying to act luxury when Uniqlo has never been. Even lululemon know to be a more luxury fitness brand allowed me in with my coffee…
Don’t know how this branch is 4.4 stars when they can cause so many inconveniences. I think people neeed to stop rating the items because Uniqlo is a good quality for cost product, but the branch as rules of the store sucks… so the company can change the rules...
