I was yesterday night there. A very busy and seems successful place. The guys are running a taff gig there. Smale space and three people in a small space. The clientel is most form the near east. The Burgers and Hotdogs are Halal. Seems that local friends could cut the line by knocking on the side door for service. And the line is long. If you are unlucky 30min. to 1h. But from my view, maybe because there are open when all the other halal burger shops are closing. So I bought a burger, chips and a hotdog and something to drink. But before that I had a look on the working force and I have to say, what I saw as a chef was very disappointing. The crew smoke outside with open window to the kitchen and blow the smoke into the kitchen. Than they disappeared sometimes to somewhere. (Maybe the toilet). The thing is, they stepped back into the kitchen without washing there hands, touching direct the burgers, bread, etc. People in other countries you would loss your license for that or with bad luck your clients spend the next day on the toilet. Think about that. But I thought let taste the burgers & co. And what a disappointment. Standard stuff, no love in the taste or the look of the food. With the success they have with young people. I thought there must have to be something special with the burgers. But nothing. Maybe it's a problem of our time, that the next generation of people, have to taste anymore because the big food industry with there standards killed the passion for flavor in food. Just standard burgers and I I'm not sure if the are Halal after the rules of the koran. So is it the way worth to the Chelsea Bridge. No sorry! There are plenty of better halal burgers shops in London which give love and taste to there burgers as they do at Chelsea Burgers. Maybe they should think about to hire more people. And please! Hygiene is one to the important things in the islamic worlds. Respect that with your appearance as burger chefs and your personal...
Read moreI see why people come here, as others mentioned, the ingredients used are found in other shops but the way the burger is cooked on the grill and created adds that extra touch and the fact that your cheeseburger has melted cheese and is cooked to perfection is a huge plus. The cheeseburger is 5/5 for me, with the added onions, Turkey rashers and burger sauce, you can add whatever sauce combo you like. If you eat a single burger alone it is enough to satisfy your hunger but if you want to be greedy you can get the chips and drink also. The chicken burger and cheese was presented well but is your regular chicken patty and is nothing exceptional so I'd say 3.5/5. I see myself returning here from time to time but certainly when less busy and weather better. The service is good and pretty quick for a single man at the stand so hats off to him for soldiering it. Good fast food place on the battersea bridge and is popular....
Read moreWaited 30 mins just to order even tho there were only 2 people Infront of us, once I ordered I could sense the server seemed bothered, told me there was no more hotdogs left even though I could see them, he then went and cooked some hotdogs, said 10 mins, after 15 mins I asked and he was annoyed with that so when I got the food I left until I got called to come back, got back and he said I left with not all the food and tried to lecture me about not checking the bag, saw him give me the wrong order and told him, and instead of trying to help and fix the order he just began talking and trying to lecture me and then just told me to go and leave so I did, turns out the whole order was wrong.service is horrible and food is also. Not recommended. Tastes like overpriced cafeteria food, literally frozen patties put on a stove.fries were actually...
