Probably my worst experience in London so far!! First of all, I want to mention that the below review, was first sent as an email to their customer relations on the 2nd of January, from which I haven't had any reply. I have visited many Gordon Ramsay restaurants and many of the "street restaurants" as well, including the Battersea street pizza as I live in the neighbourhood. So I am pretty familiar with the concept (just a note for later). In this case, I had booked a table for 8 people for the 27th of December, 20 days in advance, as my family was visiting London for Christmas. On our arrival one of the managers showed us to our table, which consisted of two uneven tables next to each other which could hardly fit 6 people let alone 8. As you can see in the pictures those who were "supposed" to sit in the middle wouldn't even be able to rest their plate on the table. I initially talked to one of the waiters regarding this and she just turned her head and said she will call someone else. Another manager arrived and when I asked them to change the tables they said that this is the restaurant's style and all tables are uneven. In addition they said that based on their policy 8 people are always allocated to two tables and that they couldn’t add another table or bring us to tables at the same height. I explained that this was unacceptable as we had one pregnant person in our group and 3 very tall people. In our shock they replied that it’s not their fault that we are tall (never even commented on the pregnant person that literally asked them to put her somewhere that she can be comfortable). (most of the people in group received this comment as racism towards our race and origin). They were denying to put an extra table and even though a group of 4 next to us had the same size table. The staff's reply was that the policy is that groups of 8 and 4 are all allocated to the same tables -which obviously does not make sense. When I asked to speak to another manager she came and told me that there is another table that we could use when the other group is finished but they are making us a favour that she doesn’t kick us out as a she wouldn’t want to ask any waiter to serve us after how mad and rude we were. She even said that a client told us to give us calming pills. At the end she said that they have 8 restaurants in London and they don’t need us as clients. As you can understand as clients we couldn't accept being treated like this so we decided to leave the restaurant before eating. I live in London for the past six years and I have never been treated so badly. I am very disappointed by the staff and customer relations Battersea has now many restaurants, that are many times better than this, so if you are in the neighbourhood please avoid at all costs.

Mr Gordon Ramsey. My son and I decided to visit your restaurant at Battersea Powerstation today. We initially popped in and a friendly young server explained how we would order the pizza which my son was interested in. We told him we would check out the other restaurants and then pop back. We returned after five minutes at 1.50pm and a very curt woman came to the desk and said you were now full. And we would need to book online. She swiftly walked away. My son went outside and booked two seats which allocated our times at 2.15 pm. We waited around outside the restaurant and re-entered at 2.03 pm at which point the same lady seated us. The restaurant had empty seats so unsure why we were made to book online. We were given the worst seats next to the drinks machine and the counter. We saw alternative seating and moved. This was our first time in your restaurant and after trying to order from the table QR code we asked for assistance and were told we would have to order via the waitress. We made our orders. My son chose pizza and I the ribs and chips. To my horror, the waitress came to our table (11) and threw my son's pizza on his plate whilst he was in the bathroom. As you can see from the picture the pizza was half on the plate and the table. When I mentioned this to the… I presume the manager. (The same lady at the front desk ) she picked up the pizza threw it back on to the plate and flung the plate onto the counter. No apology or eye contact was made to me. At this point I realised there definitely was a problem so I asked her did she have a problem…. She said no she was just busy. She obviously had a big problem with me and my son. When speaking to the other customers she had a smile on her face. When speaking to us. It seemed as if were an inconvenience. What could be the problem I asked myself. We came in to the restaurant well presented, well spoken and yes we were both Black. How can two people trying to enjoy an afternoon out be treated in such a manner and believe it was for no reason? What sort of customer service training are you providing your staff or was their behaviour in place to deter others like me from visiting the restaurant? Whatever the reason, I will never visit your restaurant again. At 65 years old and born and bred in the UK. I have never experienced such mistreatment in a restaurant.

First time visiting a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and not the best experience I have to say... We travelled around 40 mins to get here but due to delays it took us around 2hrs which is not their fault I know. We then were told that the ovens weren't working and they are expecting them to be working in around half an hour. We decided to wait and ordered drinks. We then looked at the menu and saw that a coke zero costs £4.50, which was really pricey but then seen a soda fountain so assumed it was a one of those places that you pay for a glass and then it's free refills but, in fact, it was £4.50 for a 330ml!!!! That's just you basic can of coke which is a ridiculous price! The atmosphere was okay but the music that was playing was very loud and it was relatively quiet with only 7 tables. They came around with the margarita first, which I was given 1 slice, which was nice, and then a pepperoni came. When the waiter asked if I would like any, I told them I was a vegetarian. About 4 pizzas then came out and everyime a staff member came over and asked if I wanted a slice, I told them I'm a vegetarian as they were all meat pizzas. It then took around 15 minutes before another margarita slice was offered and this time the waiter gave me 2 slices. After 1 bite of the first slice, I noticed a crack on the plate under the second slide and then realised it was a long black hair which didn't belong to me nor my partner. I called over one of the waiters and told them in which they apologised and took it away. I then had to wait around 5-10 mins before they came around again with the margarita pizzas in which I had around 4 slices and then they came over with the new India inspired chickpea pizza in which I was given 1 slice. We then asked the waiter if we can have another drink but they never arrived so assuming the waiter forgot about us, we scanned the QR code on the table, which stated you could view the menu, order and pay but it gave no option to order anything or add anything into the bill. Overall the food was nice just not the best first experience and not great if your a vegetarian. It would make more sense if they constantly had plain margaritas on the go and then send out all the specialty ones every so often.

STAY FAR AWAY! Do not entertain this mockery of a restaurant. Following a recent visit as a party of 4 we were left with the most appalling service in London, something which should definitely not be expected from a restaurant charging nearly £5 for one mediocre cup of Fanta from a self serve machine (which you could not help yourself to!). I cannot imagine in what world Gordon Ramsay would want his name attached to this sorry excuse for a “pizza” restaurant. The name itself is very misleading as you cannot get a whole pizza you must pay a greedy £20 for a “bottomless” concept which was poorly explained to us by the waitress adding to the confusion of the idea. The general idea involves waiters coming around and having to offer you a slice at a time of a random pizza which comes with an array of issues as you can imagine. First off the options are not very friendly if you have dietary requirements, hardly any vegetarian/vegan options offered despite mentioning that there was somebody vegetarian there. The waiters also seem to favour certain tables which we witnessed throughout the unfortunate 2 hours we spent there as they offered the tables around us every pizza and quickly walked past ours. After half an hour of being ignored we decided to attempt to conclude our experience however the extremely slow service and responsiveness meant that we were waiting 25 minutes for the bill. Even the chefs noticed our frustration and seemed to acknowledge between them that this service seems to be a standard in this place. When the bill finally arrived it came with a gluttonous service charge of 15% equating to £14 which is shameful given that we were offered 6 slices of pizza within our 2 hours there so I am not sure what service they deem acceptable to charge £14 for. The “bottomless” concept doesn’t seem to have the resources to be adequately addressed as staff seem incapable of fulfilling the demand. The overall atmosphere was incoherent and the only saviour to our experience was the DJ who came within our last half an hour there making it somewhat bearable. They are also trying to attempt a modern, exposed brick aesthetic however I didn’t think this involved a gutter leaking a mysterious liquid over the table next to us and soaking the whole wall in an unknown hue of grey. Overall, if you really want to experience good pizza and good service it will definitely not be here and you should look elsewhere to seek a premium experience for...

Absolutely incredible experience, thank you to Aldo and the team!

I visited this branch for the first time and it was also my first ever visit to a Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza location. I was highly impressed; the opening hours at this specific location were excellent, offering both lunch and dinner with long opening hours. Some of the other branches only open in the evenings during the week, so this played a part in my choice for this location.

The restaurant ambience was wonderful and everything is well thought of in the design from comfortable chairs through to the artwork and clean toilets too, complete with Dyson hand dryers.

Now lets get to the food! The food was absolutely incredible, the selection of pizza was exemplary for the bottomless pizza option (which is what I went for) and it was all cooked fresh, right in front of me actually! Typically they serve slices to the table but due to it being lunch the restaurant was almost empty and so I'd much rather prefer, as they did, cooking the pizza fresh per request. I went for some half and half options to try more of the dishes and everything from the pepperoni through to the corn and chorizo pizza was great. I could taste the ingredients were high quality and fresh, it is what you expect right? It was perfect and the portion sizes were generous too. The pizza was not greasy and was perfectly served on a thin crust base made from hand-stretched dough.

Don't forget the service! The service was absolutely incredible, Aldo was my server (he might be a manager?) and he was friendly, had a smile and clearly enjoyed his work. Due to it being quiet I was able to spend time chatting to Aldo about the restaurant and the food; he made my visit truly memorable and was more than happy to answer all my questions. Aldo is an asset to the location and I must pass my compliments to the chef too who made each and every pizza I ate; I managed almost 20 slices so it wasn't a bad effort!

Highly recommend this restaurant and specifically this branch, it was spacious and had plenty of room plus entertainment at the weekend too. There is bottomless ice cream available too self-service, I was too full up though! The restaurant was clean and so were the toilets, I recommend the bottomless pizza options.

I will recommend this location to all, friends and family too, and would highly encourage you to visit! Thank you to Aldo and the team at Gordon Ramsay Street...
