PizzaExpress — Restaurant in London

After taking the kids to the cinema, my friends and I decided to go here for dinner and we’ve had an awful experience. From the moment we walked in, one of the waiter asked us to shut the door even though we were trying to get in with the kids and the buggies. Then he rolled his eyes out when trying to find us a table to sit down. Pizza was very different from the other Pizza Express which we usually go to. After finishing our food , we wanted to get the bill and pay but the waiter was at the table behind us showing everyone how to access the wifi and stayed there for 10 minutes , completely ignoring us. I went up to the manager and asked to pay as the kids were tired and started to cry. We were given the bill and then he said to wait again for the payment. In the end, we managed to pay and leave. I wouldn’t normally write a bad review , as I understand that people can have a bad day sometimes, nor when they are busy. I know and I totally understand it and never complained anywhere about taking longer to get the food or to place an order, but i cannot accept to be treated like this, when i only wanted to have a nice evening with my friends and the kids at a place that we would...

What a fantastic pizza party we had today!

Today I took my year 3 class in for a pizza party, as recently in DT we have been designing and making our own pizzas. This was such a great experience for them! Eddie taught them all about the different ingredients needed to make a pizza which was so interesting. They then all had the opportunity to make their own pizzas, which was cooked by Carlos. They also kindly let the adults on the trip make their own pizzas!

So much work went into this experience. I would like to say a massive thank you to Eddie and Carlos, as well as the manager who organised our visit free of charge, which is so generous and much appreciated by our school! I would recommend this restaurant to any school or member of the public as the staff are just fantastic.

I booked a table at Pizza Express recently, citing four people in the booking. We had to add another person at the last moment, this was no problem for the staff who accommodated us from the moment we arrived. They made great recommendations for us, serving us quickly and making us feel at home. The restaurant was very busy with couples and families who were clearly enjoying themselves - the staff managed all of this efficiently. The managers took time to check if we were happy with the service and the food. The ambience was lively and just what we wanted and I was happy that the cleanliness of the restaurant was very good.
