Pret A Manger — Restaurant in London

Came at an off-peak time and bought a salad. After paying the 25% mark up to eat in (it was raining outside), there were no forks. At all. In the entire place. I took my salad back for a refund so I could go eat at a restaurant that actually provides utensils, and the people working copped an attitude. I won’t complain too much about the abysmal service, since I bet the people working here don’t get paid enough for that. But I wasn’t going to pay extra to eat my salad with a spoon. They refunded the salad but not the drink and I had to go somewhere else. Luckily there are dozens of not hundreds of food establishments in the area. Definitely give this...

I came in here for a drink before an interview not too long ago. I have to say there was one female member of staff who hated her job and made it evident in her interactions with the customers. I ordered one drink and was cut off twice to be aggressively asked to pay. I was also treated to an eye roll when I asked to use the customer toilet after making an order. The cherry on the cake was the grimacing fake smile I was sent off with, followed by another eye roll on my way out. Simply disgusting and uncomfortable experience that has put me off this particular store. Managers, get this employee some training or a raise so she can stop taking it out...

It was a quiet Monday late morning. I was standing ready at the counter to pick up my Americano, when the French barista shouted at my face to pick it up (I had been looking at my phone and hadn’t heard her the first time).
