Reading all those reviews and comparing to my experience with Prezzo, Harrow branch, I wonder how many of previous reviews are genuine as this place is literally chaotic, especially when it comes to customer service!! If I could have given -1 rating, I was more than happy to give and even then, I would have probably been too generous to this restaurant. One of my friend’s decided to have his birthday dinner at Prezzo Harrow, on Sunday 16th of December, after I have recommended this place to him and literally made him change his mind, as I have visited other branches and wasn’t disappointed, so I was expecting that Harrow branch cannot go wrong. WHAT A MISTAKE I HAVE DONE!! Since we have arrived at the restaurant, we had to sit ourselves to the table as no one came to ask us why we are there and what we want, however, after we sat down, a blonde lady came and took our drinks order. After 10 minutes our drinks arrived, with few drinks missing and 2 glasses dirty (when I say just dirty, I am generous, trust me!!). She took the glasses back, and never came back with fresh ones. Another lady came minutes after to take our food order. She took the order, nothing wrong with it so the food was alright. While we were having the food, I went to the bar (there was the manager Eve and another blonde lady) and asked if there is any chance to have a small birthday cake for my friend as it is his birthday, the answer was very prompt NO, unless we have brought our own cake!! I was like …ok, but all the restaurant that I have been so far my entire life were serving complimentary birthday cakes, even other Prezzo restaurant branches so was a bit surprised and not happy to the way how she reacted to my request. Anyway, to stop arguing about at there was a quite aggressive attitude from the staff and I really didn’t want to make a drama while we were there to celebrate my friend’s birthday, I have asked her to put a candle on his desert (he ordered a brownie), as we were going to order some. The deserts came, and surprise, with no candle at all. I went again to the bar and asked the blonde lady (that I asked at the beginning) why there is no candle if I have clearly asked that I want a candle in my friend’s cake and she said “aww, sorry, I forgot.”. Upset, I told her that it’s definitely the last time when I came to Prezzo Harrow and while having this conversation with the blonde lady, another blonde lady who was next to her, polishing glasses and wearing a black uniform, got involved in the conversation and told me that I didn’t ask for any candle, while she wasn’t even there when I have asked for it. Told her that I don’t know who she is, and she shall stay out of our conversation, and her remark in a very aggressive way, and I don’t exaggerate at all when I say it aggressive, was like “Don’t point your finger towards me, someone might break it!!”. I was literally completely shocked by her remarks as I know how Hospitality works and never ever heard such a remark from someone before. Went again to the manager Eve and told her everything what happened and very upset she told me that I was the one who provoked her staff, even if there was nothing like that at all. So, all in one experience at Prezzo Harrow was “Birthday destroyed and in top of that threatens from the staff that someone might break my finger!!”. Now, I am asking you all, who read this review, please, please don’t you ever go to this place especially on a special occasion as I am sure you don’t want that special day to be ruined by such an incompetent staff with no customer service at all!! I am not a person who likes to complain, I am really not, but because of this situation my action is not going to end with this review, as I am planning to take this matter to the Head Office, as there is no excuse for such...
Read moreIf you are looking for a pre-Christmas treat then Prezzo in Harrow is the place.
The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are ready to cater for all your needs. We arrived when the doors opened on a Saturday afternoon and the place was already buzzing.
Diona took our orders and explained everything, and Fabulous Fabio got us into the Christmas spirit with a bottle of Prosecco, masterfully delivered by Elina. Thank you Bulgaria.
My wife opted for Saltimbocca Chicken Sage which got her taste buds roaring, the grilled chicken tasted barbecued and was healthy on the calorie count. The prosciutto was crispy delicious.
My daughter’s pizza was a Margherita with a tasty chicken topping. The pizza tasted fresh like it had just been flown in from Napoli, the birthplace of pizzas. It was gone before I could give it a second glance.
My beef burger looked like the leaning Tower of Pisa when it was placed in front of me. Within minutes I demolished it, taking big bites from the juicy meat wrapped up in a bun and relishes. Usually I go for a Pepperoni pizza but this made a welcome change.
The desserts rounded off what could be the tastiest meal I had for a while. I went for the best ever chocolate cake and my daughter had the tiramisu. We swapped spoonfuls with my wife and we were not disappointed.
If this was Britain’s Got Talent I would be hitting the buzzer for a big YES and waiting for the golden glitter to fall down from the sky. Christmas for me and my family...
Read moreOverall, amazing food, amazing customer service, amazing everything! The last time i went to a Prezzo was in Bournemouth and i was obsessed with it, this time round it blew my socks off even more!
This restuarant is suitable for you if you are muslim, and look to only eat halal food, as there are halal options. The chef has garunteed to us that no wine or nothing gets mixed, and everything is cooked on seperate pans, and fresh dishes.
I went with my partner and we both got a spaghetti and king prawn dish, and a triple chocolate tart.
Oh my the spaghetti and king prawns were to die for! Beautiful prawn to pasta ratio, amazing tomato sauce with chilli laid on top to allow the customer to choose whether they want anymore spice to the dish or not, I think it tasted amazing with that little crunch and chilli to it, Pasta was a 10/10 for me!
The chocolate tart was a whole other experience, I’m never really a fan of chocolate tarts, i always assume they’ll be rich and chocolatey and way too much to eat. But this one, wow oh wow, the different level of textures, the asthetic, the crunch, the freshness of the rasberry, and the soft texture of the mouse, It was by far one of my favourite dessert experience I have had in a long time, amazing work!
The cranberry juice was also really nice, and cold- just to mention
Will defo recommend everyone to come here and try these two dishes, if not the pasta definitely the...
