Went to Rosa’s this Sunday again to order my fried rice with veg and tofu(no egg), most Sunday it’s my favourite dinner but every time I go there is some sort of issue, last Sunday I asked to have beans sprouts instead (as I don’t eat eggs ( if possible, I wasn’t demanding it) the waiter ( nice and attentions lady) totally understood the request, the chef came out of the kitchen to question her and throw me such a EVIL look that made me very uncomfortable but made my request possible and good tasty fried rice, today came in again for the same dish( did not request for sprouts instead of eggs to avoid negative evil eyes again) got my order went home and couldn’t finish the dish, the fried rice was tasteless, a very far cry from the fragrant zingy flavours from rosas own sauces, it lacked the typical sweet, sour and tangy Thai flavours, in fact I could only taste rice and it wasn’t even mixed and stirred properly ( see picture) seems like it was just badly mixed in a bowl and out in the takeaway box. The dish was so not right that I could not finish it, waste of money( big shame) Never to mention the coldness of the gentleman who served me( may I order a takeaway please? Answer: Ah? I’d like to order a takeaway please? A: Yeah. Not even a thank you after I’ve paid . Guess what folks, not going back or recommend Rosa’ s Brixton ever again.

It's been a while since I've had decent Thai food... Unfortunately, today is not going to be that day. Recently opened in Brixton, with a modern diner look to it. The waitress wasn't really helpful with recommendations so we chose a variety, picking some statement Thai dishes and some of Rosa's own. The food took a while to arrive and were just average to me. The beef in the dishes were tough and dry, the rice was hard, pad thai too sweet... I could keep going. The portions were also quite small so we ordered a few more dishes after our initial order arrived. These again took long to arrive so we weren't feeling it by the time they did. Big mistake on the beef mussaman as it was watery and same issues as the other beef dishes. I liked the peanut sauce in the fresh rolls, but these were like Vietnamese summer rolls and would have been nicer with some meat. Chicken wings were ok when dipped in the sweet chili sauce, but otherwise slightly dry. I tried to give feedback to the waitress regarding the food, but she just shrugged and looked at us blankly. We shouldn't have bothered ordering the extra food. This place claim to be authentic, but it really isn't at all. Wheelchair access: One good thing I can say is that this place was completely accessible with toilets.

Unfortunately this has not lived up to the dazzling reviews…. GUYS THE PORK WAS RAW. My girlfriend and I work in hospitality and work with meat daily, I would never usually leave a bad review but this has absolutely been the worst takeaway I have had this year. 1. Pork Skewers (RAW) 2. Chicken Skewers (DRY) 3. Panang Curry (Consistency of Water) 4. Pad Thai (Cold and tasteless) I could have settled with 2/3/4 but Raw Pork is an absolute no. I have just emptied this all into the bin and have spoken to Uber Eats. I will include photos before you start trying to convince me this is how it’s served.

27.09.2005 @ 14:00hrs The female server was kind and smiley upon arrival which nice. I ordered 5 small plates and all were fair and not the best. Satay squewers were a bit on the warm side and not hot as it should be.

Whilst eating my food the young male server Decided to use a strong antiseptic spray to clean a table that was not used behind me and no other customers were in the vicinity. The spray left a cloud of chemical trail that really put me off my food and wanted to leave immediately. But being reasonable I spoke to the young man to please stop doing the spray cleaning as I was eating . He then replies I am cleaning the table to which I replied please stop it is not necessary and very unprofessional to do it whilst customers are eating and nobody was asking for a table. He then looked directly eye bawling me and walked off and without a simple sorry. He then went behind the bar to tell the female server of what had happened to which she laughed..... Then then approached my table I proceeded to tell her was had happened Again no sorry but was even rude enough to look at me weirdly and say are you feeling alright! To which I replied directly to her if this is too much to ask i will leave now. She replied no no and again said are feeling alright, I then replied no with this condescending attitude. The bill came and I asked to take off the service charge on the bill to which then laughed and said oh you are making a complaint now and started laughing at me Then I asked that's your name to which she replied oh you are going to complain about me and continued to laugh , then i asked for the male servers name and did exactly the same laughing undermining and condescending attitude. Upon leaving they both looked at each other and no thank you or goodbye came from them but actually came from me the customers. Overall the need training fast otherwise it will damage this lovely restaurant reputation. I will never return to this branch again!

Good Luck !...

So disappointed tbh. I used to live in Brixton and came here a lot cos the experience was always great. Tonight I was back in the area and decided to go here for dinner with my partner but really wish I hadn't. We arrived an hour before closing but the host seated us and seemed fine with us coming in despite the time, we were ready to order within 5 mins but the order was taken after 15 mins, again nothing was said about time. We then sat there waiting as the only people in the restaurant while numerous delivery orders were completed until finally our starter came at 22.15 and the mains came at 22.20. Not sure if my taste buds had changed but the pad thai just tasted off and the veggie starter platter was a bit tasteless and pathetic considering it's £18 price tag. Then, while we were still eating, we were handed the bill at 22.25 by the waiter and told the place would be closing in 5 mins, fair enough we said. He then asked if he could take the plates we were still eating from and when we said no (cos we were still eating from them) he then walked right over to the til terminal and turned off the music and switched on the lights. I couldn't help but actually laugh out loud cos what the actual hell. We then decided to pay the bill and leave asap, but on the way out my partner suggested that the host might reconsider seating people if they aren't going to have time to eat their food before being kicked out, the host interrupted them with a defensive rant about not being responsible and not making the rules but it was just really obvious they were poorly informed /trained, impatient to go home and couldn't give a crap about offering a good experience – it's been a while since I worked in hospi but if I had done any of this then I would expect to get a warning/lose my job. Such a shame cos Rosa's is not cheap and, like I said at the start, it used to be...
