My visit to Sam’s Chicken was nothing short of a nightmare, and I’m still reeling from the experience. I ordered a basket of their so-called “peri peri wings,” expecting something crispy, flavorful, and at least edible.
What I got instead was an abomination on a plate. The wings arrived looking pale and sad, barely golden, as if they’d only been kissed by the fryer for a fleeting second.
The skin was slick with grease, practically dripping, and when I took a closer look, I nearly gagged—there were actual feathers still clinging to the meat. Not just one or two stray bits, but patches of fine, prickly chicken hair, like they’d skipped the plucking process entirely and just decided to cook the bird as-is. It was revolting.
I left feeling cheated and queasy, wondering how Sam’s Chicken has the audacity to stay open serving food this atrocious. It’s not just bad—it’s borderline inedible. If you care about your taste buds, your health, or basic standards of food prep, do yourself a favor and avoid this dump at all costs. I wouldn’t feed those hairy wings to my...

Constising of: Fillet burger (I swapped mine for spicy blaze burger) 2 hot wings Large chips Can drink
The highlight of the meal has got to be the hot wings! Wings were juicy, plenty of meat on them, lovely coating on the outside, and just the right level of spice.
Now onto the blaze burger. The burger was quite large in size with a well cooked chicken fillet. Lots of mayo and lettuce too. I felt a slight heat from the burger, but would have preferred it to be a little more spicy. I added a few drops of tobasco hot sauce to turn up the heat 🌶🔥 After that it tasted perfect 👌🏽
The chips were bog standard frozen chips, typical chicken shop type. Nothing special, but tasty none the less. They gave me plenty of ketchup, mayo, salt, pepper sachets in my bag. And I like how they allowed me to make changes to the set box meal, that was nice of them 🙂
Total price for this meal was £5.99, including canned drink. Which is pretty good for London!

Read moreOrdered via uber eats. Sam's (NOT uber) sent the driver off with the complete wrong order. We had ordered around £30 worth of food and were sent around £10 worth.
It took almost 15 minutes of constant calling to get throught to sams, when I did I was greeted with "Hello?" Here's a tip, trying pretending to be proffesional when answering your business line.
I was told it wasn't sams fault (it was) and to contact uber (which takes 24 hours for a reply) The rude woman said it's not her problem and hung up.
Miraculously uber replied and allowed us to reorder for free. HERE'S THE BEST PART... Sam's got the order wrong again. They now won't answer my calls. Appalling service, and greasy poor food.
Had a similar experience with sams ealing, so now boycotting both these crapholes. If anyone high up is reading this, sack the lazy potatoes you have working for you. Your business is losing money...
