Superior food! We ended up paying £85 for 2x people for food and extra £20 for drinks. Via FirstTable app you can get -50% off the food menu so I recommend getting the app, however at the time we didn’t know so we paid full price - which non the less is worth it and the team deserves it. Intimate small venue with open kitchen where you can see the chefs doing their magic. Keep in mind that the ventilation is making it really cold inside, but that I assume is to prevent the restaurant from getting smelly/smoky as it’s open kitchen. Everything was *to share*, however the portions are not very big so I’d recommend either ordering 2x of each or more items from the menu if you’re really hungry (I assume the small size is to invite customers buying more). I’ve not had such amazing seafood meal in a while, seasoning is to die for. We started with the oysters (6 for £16, £2.7 per oyster) - they had their own whiskey sauce to compliment the oysters and it was delicious! We ordered ox cheek & miso croquettes (4 for £9); one dish which is 2x pieces of fish on a bone with spring onion, but I don’t recall the name (probably around £10-12), huge garlic king prawns (I think it was 4/5 for £12) which are a bit tricky to peel, it definitely got messy and we didn’t have bowl of water/wet napkins to clean our hands which would’ve been helpful as napkins were sticking to our fingers; whole crispy bream (450gr for £25) cooked to perfection yet slightly salty for my taste; mackerel skewers (2 for £12.5). The mackerel was my all time winner, the sauces for each dish are beyond this world and it’s elevating the meals to a whole new level. The tables are with high chairs, I’d say they can’t fit more than 4 people and tables are close to each other. I’m looking forward to coming back with friends, this time I’d enjoy the 50% discount to spare my budget haha. Don’t sleep on this cute restaurant, it’s a gem :)

Great place, great food and great people. From the service to the whole dining experience, the dressed oysters are a must, a lot of interesting flavours going on in each mouthful. The mackerel was Definately a highlight and the ceviche as well as the prawns were also really tasty. The whitebait had a lovely crucnchiness and kick 😍 to it, wich I love. The wine list has pairing wines according to what you are eating. Was so good, that I am going back today for a tasting pairing wine 🍷 meal, with ice cream favour guessing at the end.... You might still have a slot available. Slots at 3 and 5pm today. Highly recommended 👌***** more delicious food pics 📸 to follow.

You can tell from my profile that I don't rate to crash restaurants' ratings but me and my friend (met for dinner and didn't see each other afterwards in the coming days) we both had very severe poisoning which caused both of us to seek medical care and even after that its impacts lasted for a week. I emailed the restaurant to inform and seek an explanation, which they responded after 1 week, confirming that I was most likely due to the oyster (their supplier had another complaint on the same batch). I had only 1 oyster to try, choose from the menu wisely.

I think this must be my new favourite restaurant in the local area. I didn't know about this place until September when I went for a mate's birthday and have been back numerous times since including two consecutive days over Christmas.

I have been through every dish on the menu but have to keep returning for the specials and the changes added to the menu. Favourite dishes for me have been the halibut collars, oh wow how amazing they were. Every time I go I have to have the ceviche, oh wow it is so beautiful - bursting with flavours, textures and colours. It's all bloody amazing but even the fries are the best I have ever had; perfectly seasoned, crunchy on the outside and like little fluffy clouds on the inside.

Have no photos to display as when the food is in front of you it needs to be eaten, not photographed in my personal opinion. Wicked cocktails including my favourite - Negroni. Lovely Vino Verde to accompany the food as well.

Every visit has been a 10/10 for me and I hope that the standards stay this high as it really is something quite wonderful. Also value for money has to be mentioned, you'd easily pay double, probably more if you go up town and you won't necessarily get the same quality or passion.

I can't wait for the team to return from their well deserved break, I will be waiting at the door. Love your passion, food and work guys....

I just love the fact that I can walk up the road to sit in a cosy railway arch in Deptford and be served such incredible seafood (and other food) – so lucky to be in the right place at the right time! Everything served here is consistently fantastic, visit after visit. You should get here while you can because these chefs are clearly going places and I fear they'll outgrow this arch one day. Enjoying it as often as I can in the meantime! The staff and chefs are so friendly and welcoming, and it's great being able to watch the chef cooking too. Basically if you like seafood and have read this far trying to decide whether to go here, stop reading now...
