Well welcome to Slim Chickens, they have a number of locations now across London and beyond so the chances of you passing over their threshold is more than likely.

As a Fried Chicken restaurant it's good to know that if you're after a Vegan/Veggie option you're catered for... No longer are chips just an option whoop whoop.

This Slim Chickens is at the entrance of Compton Street, and if you manage to grab a seat on the first floor you can gaze across Soho like a King or Queen.

Slim offer up juicy fried chicken that isn't coated in thick batter but lightly layered on so the Chicken inside is cooked to perfection.

Meals are well priced and the chicken bites are large so you wont feel short changed. If you're happy to share get an ultimate meal (Around £11) which gives you 7 chicken bites, plenty of chips along with two slices of toast and two dips, drinks are bottomless also so slurp up the soda (although most of the flavours taste the same).

Not after Chicken well get some Seiten bites instead, on the occasions I've had these the quality of how it's been cooked varies (you'll know what I mean if you're vegan), so best of luck to you.

Additionally you've a choice of sides you can get so give the Mac & Cheese a try!

Slim Chickens in Central London Brunswick Square absolutely exceeded my expectations and delivered a truly mind-blowing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and the mouth-watering aroma of Southern-style fried chicken.

I decided to try their renowned chicken tenders, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Chicken sandwich burger: the chicken was crispy but bland. It had little to no flavour at all. they should try adding sauces to the burger.

The cold buns were cold which wasn’t great as, although the chicken was warm, my food overall felt cold when I was eating. Paired with cold lettuce, it really felt like I was eating a cold burger. I would advise them to heat the buns.

Don’t bother adding extra cheese for 50p as the cheese has absolutely no flavour at all and comes in a grated form which adds no texture or substance to the burger. (Maybe they could consider trying a cheese sauce??) you can hardly taste it.

I would rate the burger: 5/10 🍔

Fries: the fries were good, very salty but good. 9/10

Drink: the sodas are very watered down so paring it with ice would mean that you are drinking squash. 5/10

Sauce: Slim sauce. I received an expired tub which had a metallic taste. Luckily I tried my friends (which tasted a lot better) and realised that the sauce they gave me was a bit dodgy.
