I had an amazing experience at Snowflake Gelato in The O2 with my family last night. Here’s a breakdown of some delicious items we tried:
Sundae Shake – A truly indulgent treat! It was the perfect blend of creamy goodness and rich flavors, topped with all the right extras. Thick, smooth, and decadent, it’s a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. Snow Mango – This one was so refreshing. The mango flavour was vibrant and authentic, with a tropical sweetness that tasted natural, not artificial. It’s the perfect pick-me-up for fruit lovers. Oreo Gelato – Classic and nostalgic! The Oreo gelato was creamy with crunchy Oreo bits mixed in, striking a great balance between chocolatey and creamy textures. Highly recommend for Oreo fans. Kinder Gelato – Delightful and surprisingly rich! The Kinder gelato was smooth and had just the right sweetness without being overpowering. It brought out the best of Kinder flavors in gelato form. New Tiramisu Flavor – We saved the best for last! This tiramisu flavor was fantastic, combining layers of coffee, cocoa, and creamy mascarpone. It had that classic tiramisu taste in every scoop – definitely a flavour worth trying if you’re a tiramisu fan!
Overall, Snowflake Gelato at The O2 exceeded our expectations. The flavours were so well-crafted, and the variety of choices made it fun for the whole family. Last but not the least, we got amazing service from their staff. Can’t...
Read moreThe staff are really lovely and have great customer servive skills. I can't fault the staff one bit, I only have good things to say about them. They offered us the chance to sample different gelatos before puchasing and there was no rush when deciding.
As for the gelato itself, unfortunately, it's nothing special. We tried 8 flavours between us and nothing stood out. Some flavours lacked flavour and weren't that great and others seemed a bit icy or cheap tasting. As a whole, I'd say the gelato is average, but it doesn't leave you wanting more or feeling like you want to return for it on your next visit to the o2. I saw online they had an "apple crumble" flavour that I was excited to try, however, it wasn't in the store (I guess it's seasonal).
Pricing is standard central London prices. Expect to pay around £5-10 per person for a cup or cone of gelato.
In terms of atmosphere it's very subjective. The store is clear and there's plently of seating. The location of the shop means it doesn't get as busy as others around. We liked that it was a chilled area of the o2.
Overall, our experience of Snowflake was that it's nothing groundbreaking and the gelato isn't special - it's average. But the staff are great and I would return to try others things...
Read moreAs the name suggests this place mainly offers amazing gelato but I went there to try their hot chocolate experience for two. It consists of a jug of hot chocolate for two, a dollop of whipped cream, mini marshmallows and winter spice syrup. There is also a version with hazelnut and pistachio spread and chopped pistachios. All this for £15 for 2 people. Once there I also had to try their new Gelato Doughnut and had it filled with chocolate gelato, biscoff crumbs and pistachio sauce. Unusual combo but I loved it. You can fully customise it by picking your own gelato, toppings and sauce. . 📍Locations: O2 Arena, Soho, Marble Arch, South Kensington 💰Price: £15 for Hot Chocolate Experience for two £8.9 for Gelato Doughnut with topping and sauce . 🙌Overall rating: 8.5/10 . 🧐Verdict: The chocolate itself was thick but not too much and just the right amount of sweetness. I prefer mine sweeter but this is better for people that like it less sweet. As it's more of an experience and you really get a full jug of hot chocolate, I think it's really good value for the price and I'd...
