I had the zalmon bagel which tasted alright, but was heavily undersalted. I asked for salt but they only had a grinder out of which barely anything came out. Contrary to what was written on the menu, there also wasn’t any pepper on it. This by itself wouldn’t have justified giving only 2 stars. I asked for tap water at first, which I only received after asking again. Generally speaking, the three women working there seemed more interested in chatting to each other than spending any attention or any word more than necessary to customers. I have never felt so unwelcome before in any cafe in London. Genuinely disappointed.

I’ve brought avocado toast many times from here. What I got today was an absolute disappointment. To start off with there’s barely any avocado, if there was not enough I should have been informed, I could have gone somewhere else. I struggled to eat the toast because it was so salty, and the toppings were just mounted on one corner, there was no chilli flakes, which is specifically what I requested for. There’s is no number provided for the cafe so had to resort to leaving a review. Quite annoyed right now, walked in the Sun to get it and payed about a tenner.

New place open in the last few weeks. Came here one Saturday morning. Not much choice for something to eat that morning. All I saw was a pizza slice and cinnamon bun. The vegan coffee was surprisingly nice. Especially for a vegetarian who prefers milk lattes. Service was quick and friendly. Inside is modern decor with with a table that can sit about 6 and a few breakfast tables and high chairs. Hope the cafe is successful.

Complete and utter shame - been coming here for a long time (almost daily) but this morning, the man who runs the shop decided to be completely and unnecessarily rude to my mother who had run over to the shop for me - trying to tell my mother that she is in the way and to move as she is with my son in his pram is just incredibly rude and was completely untrue. Not a problem though as she went straight over to Quarantacinque who were much more friendly and served her the coffee she had asked for. I have noticed a very big decline in this place - constant staff turnover (I can understand why with management with such a bad attitude) and just a general bad atmosphere. Silly really as there are 3/4 other coffee shops within walking distance - so plenty of competition - who know how to treat their staff and they will be the ones who receive the custom from me in future!

Edited to add - Nice reply from the owner calling my mum a liar - especially as I was on the phone and I could hear what happened. You constantly have notices in your window for new staff so to say you don't have a high turnover for staff is just another lie ... as I said, coffee shop next door suits me better as we don't get...

Don’t go here, awful attitude. My 70 year old Mum paid for food and they said it would take 10 minutes. When she came back they hadn’t even started preparing hers and instead had served everyone who came after her. When she asked why they would do that they said that’s how it works and they can’t keep people waiting. That is literally not how it works… it’s first come first served, and why should she be the one to be kept waiting? After they then refused to serve her even though she already paid, they tried to short change her for the refund. Sort...
