Keeping the door open at 5:30 am when it’s freezing cold outside and warm inside is just rude. I’d just arrived and, at first, enjoyed the warmer feeling inside (but not for long, though). I got my hot drink and barely managed to enjoy the comfort of the warmer space before being hit by the cold air rushing in. It shows a complete lack of care for the customer experience—not to mention the egregious waste of energy with the heating on and the door wide open. Considering the current energy prices, how does this even add up?! There’s nothing worse than sitting at a table fighting off the cold air while trying to enjoy your hot coffee. Do you do this on purpose to dissuade people from staying? The cold creeps into your legs as you sit. Is this really your best version of customer service?
Also, the milk tastes sour, and the coffee is off. Good morning to you too, Starbucks Vauxhall! Why don’t you just make a new drink that goes cold in a sip, while the taste and smell remind you of the money you just made? The aftertaste kicks you in the face with the pungent aroma of depreciation, revealing the economic value you’ve laundered between idea and deliverance. Is this why you’ve stopped smiling at the counter? Or do your baristas only appreciate those they like based on their looks and social status?
And can you please stop using the excuse that “the bathrooms are out of service" when a customer asks why they’re locked? It’s painfully obvious when the one bathroom that's closed is fully functional. Can you stop with these ridiculous lies, smiling so smugly, simply because you're afraid to admit you just don’t want to clean it? It’s horrendous to lie to customers like that, right to their faces with a smile, as if you’ve done it so many times you feel nothing about it any more. What a customer service. There is no way this is the customer service of a reputable and world famous US business like Starbucks ... no way! Why even bother having a toilet if you’re not going to make it available? It's always locked! And the one left open is the tiny one ridiculously marked as accessible, when you can't even hang a handbag in there.
Look, if you’ve just run out of toilet paper, why not be honest and say it? What are you so afraid of—foul...
Read moreA shameful day for Starbucks. I was there 2 weeks ago with my partner and ordered 2 pumpkin spiced latte, specifying that one should be Vegan. I received 2 normal pumpkin spiced latte both with cream on top. I asked which one is Vegan and the answer of the person was..".the mixture inside is Vegan but we used milk and cream on top since you didn't say what sort of milk we should use". I found it shocking that I had to explain what vegan means. He turned around and asked his colleague to make us a vegan one. When she finished making one with almond milk she asked: would you like cream on top? I find this unacceptable that in the 21st century you can not train your staff to what vegan means! I explained the lady at the entrance who was charging, that one show be Vegan, to the supervisor who I had a conversation with when the 2 normal ones came and 2 of your staff. None of them seemed to know what vegan means. Shocking shocking...
Read moreOrdered a simple americano (white) and waited about 15 minutes before realising they had forgotten my order. Whilst waiting I saw 3 incorrect orders given out and when finally my order arrived (after notifying them I was still waiting for my order) it also was incorrect? I asked for a refund and then was also SHORT CHANGED (to which I notified them of.) Stay clear of this branch as its clearly run by incompetent morons who can't even make a simple coffee! Go across the street to sainsbury and get a coffee from there machine as its cheaper and doesn't give you a wrong order + you don't have to give your name, bank account details or card pin number just for a drink. Don't Waste you're time queing in this starbucks or money for an inbred service.
Q: How meny starbucks staff does it take to make a coffee?
