We moved nearby in January, and this has become our go-to place. We come at least once a week, sometimes (like tonight) to have dinner, sometimes for a glass of wine, sometimes just to say hello. Of course we have our favorite foods -- I could eat the ravioli tartufo every night, but sometimes I prefer the ravioli Sherwood (tartufo with cream sauce, chorizo, and mushrooms), and forget that I try to eat vegan. I'd be happy with almost anything off Roberto's menu though -- the risotto, the gnocchi, and so on. More importantly, we adore the staff. We always love chatting with Roberto -- sometimes until long after closing. Irene welcomes us with passion and sunshine. Nadia thrills us with stories of her world travels. Tyshaun is quiet and kind. Michael would entertain us with his stories (and delight us with his Prosecco-bottle-top turtles, of which we have the world's preeminent collection). And we miss Will's good humor and conversation. The food was absolutely delicious. I have to give special praise to the chef Dariusz for the lasagna with their special chili divinz oil.
Fedorah, was a delight. She was incredibly kind, and attentive, ensuring every part of our experience was smooth and enjoyable.
Favor, was a true professional. Not only was he knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, but his warm demeanor made us feel right at home. His service was prompt, thoughtful, and flawless.
Roberto the owner is funny, genuine, and full of high spirits. His passion for the restaurant was evident in every interaction.

Read moreWe chanced upon the restaurant as we were staying nearby. The restaurant was full and they sat us outside. It was very windy and cold that day but within minutes we got throws to keep us warm. They even moved us indoors once a table was available.
The wines were great. The recommendations from the service staff was amazing. They gave us what we wanted and liked from just listening to our preferences in a couple of words. Food was absolutely great - obviously coming from a recipe passed down from a family tradition. Well cooked, tasty and very homely, especially the panna cotta. Never had a tastier panna cotta.
We went back for a 2nd night and it happened to be the owner/chef birthday. They even treated us to Prosecco and a complementary limoncello.
Would love to be back if we’re ever in London again. Thank you for the 2...
