BEWARE: The pictures on the website menu DO NOT correspond with what we ordered. After months of lockdown we were excited to try sushi again. This restaurant got good reviews, and looked at the online menu and choose what we liked... little did I knew we were going to get ripped off, like tourists in a tourist trap Picture on the left is from the menu. Picture of the right is what we got served (Sushi Sister). There's at least 10 less pieces of sashimi than in the picture. £40 for this plate? It looks like it's not even meant for two people, it's for one. If you don't have something, tell the client not just make something up. Terrible.

Also, I'm sorry, the quality is good but 70 pounds good for 2 people? £40 sashimi platter + £7 sides + non-alcoholic drinks? The 2 people menus are more or less the same price, £46 the cheapest. Do not choose based on the online menu, otherwise you're going to end up being disappointed. Also prices do not correspond with the experience we got. It just doesn't feel anything special. After the meal, we went to McDonald's cause we were hungry and couldn't afford anything else.

Consider this it's a chain restaurant after all, that sort of looks hip but casual. There's no star chef. There's no experience. Just sushi: no Japanese fusion experience as promised. Tastes nice, but it's undoubtedly very pricey. And there's loads of tables so we ended up dissapointed cause we wanted a unique experience but felt ripped off like going to an expensive Itsu. This is disappointing. I give it 2 stars cause the only thing good were the toilets: they...

It used to be an excellent place to go, but today the 22nd of February 2022 it was a shocking experience. I came with a friend that made the reservation for lunch time, 12h30.

The restaurant was almost empty, we sat as per the reservation and I asked to charge my phone. The waitress said ok, then came back saying that my charger doesn’t works because it is not the right voltage. I forgot to mention that I am French with a noticeable French accent and I am brown skin.

I said that it is UK stuff the whole thing so it should work to just let it charge.

She came back again annoyed saying that it is against their policy to charge mobile for client and another colleague of hers came to say the same and fake apologies profusely. It was like a very bad show.

The problem is that if it is true why don’t you say it from the beginning? Why a few month ago I was able to charge my phone? Since when such a common request is forbidden and to finish apologising profusely with such a tone and overly fake attitude is not the best. Im old enough to know what you actually did.

We silently left and ate somewhere else.

We are both regular customers and never encountered such behaviour. The fake empathy with attitude was pathetic. Stop playing game. At the end of the day it is just a restaurant chain with good seasoning.

We went to wimbledon village happy to give our business to an independent smaller restaurant that was a delish for half stick...

I have been to this place twice now. The first time I went, the waiter was extremely helpful. He recommended certain dishes, advised us that we were potentially ordering too much food and advised us what to remove from our order - Most places would not do this. The menu looks like it offers a lot of variety but after a closer look it actually doesn't. The food was lovely and the staff equally just as nice. Slightly pricey for what it is and I found that the tables are set very close together, although we went quite late on a Saturday night so the restaurant was fairly empty so this didn't bother me as we were not sat next to anyone. The service and experience was top class.

The second time I went my experience was completely different. The waiter took ages to come and take our order. Everything we ordered came out in dribs and drabs with long periods of time between dishes. We had to constantly keep asking the waiter to come and clear plates and request more drinks. Not once did they ask how our food was or if we enjoyed it. The service didn't match up to my previous visit which was a real let down as I had booked this time round for a special occasion. Not somewhere I will be returning to now after this experience. The restaurant was so packed it felt like everyone was sitting on top of one another.

Need to be consistent with their service and...

This is the second time I’ve been to Sticks’n’Sushi and and it was just as good as the first time. The food is delicious and the service is quite good too. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere which lends itself to a date night or nice dinner with friends without feeling too formal or pretentious. It’s not a cheap meal out but it’s definitely worth the money. We went for the ‘as good as it gets’ set menu (I recommend picking one of these as they have some really good selections). We also shared a bottle of wine between 3 and it came to £72 each including the tip. The wagyu beef skewers are incredible and by far my favourite thing on the menu. An absolute must-have if you eat beef. The only downside I’ve experienced both times when going to the branch in Wimbledon, is having to wait quite a while to be seated even when you have a reservation. A bit of a let down, but things got a lot better once we were seated.

We have not been to Sticks N Sushi for a while, and the foods were good, a couple minor short cuts that could be improved like sushi and foods were prepared for too long and started to taste and look old. However the Califlower is still as good as I remembered. The menu is very easy to navigate, with lot of pictures and easy descriptions. One minus point would be the 2 glasses of prosecco arrived to the table as we were booked for a special occasion. The celebration gesture should be informed rather than adding on the bill just for the sake of the event. The reason due to the medical reason as one of the guest could not consume any alcoholic substance, then put under the pressure to drink. The gesture and the idea is good, but slightly intrusive in my opinion, particularly the action that is a potential health hazard.
