What is even going on here? On a purely objective level, the service at this branch is probably the worst I've ever seen in a Subway. When I came here on 16/01/18, there was only one member of staff on shift, sitting outside the store on his mobile phone. The workstation was a mess with bits of salad strewn over the counter. When the guy eventually came inside to take my order, he barely said a word to me, avoided eye contact and looked like he was about to hang himself in the staffroom. How this can be considered a good working environment is beyond me.
Food-wise, I was given the most ridiculous sandwich imaginable. Six pieces of turkey and six pieces of ham - way more than the normal portion size - and absolutely loaded with vegetables, to the point that it didn't close properly. Normally I wouldn't complain about this since I technically got more than what I paid for, but when the only good part of my experience came from staff negligence, that doesn't exactly lead to a good review. Even then, the bread was hard around either end of the baguette. I would have preferred a fresh sandwich with the standard amount of filling, to a stale one overflowing with piles of meat and vegetables.
I have to wonder what on Earth is going on behind the scenes here. Maybe I should expect less considering this is Bromley we're talking about, but come on, sort...
Read moreTut Tut Subways, I know you can do better than this. I went to visit this store on the 23 November and there was no one on the counter serving. I called out twice asking if there was anyone there to which I got no response, I was waiting for almost ten minutes and due to not being served I walked out.
I went to visit this Subway a week ago and as we are in the middle of a pandemic. I believe the staff need to be wearing face marks along with the customers, I came across staff members who weren't. Being a former chef we need to abide by health and safety regulations, these staff members are not. If they got a visit from the Environmental Health Officer or Bromley council, this site risks getting fined or closed down. This store seriously needs to clean up it's act.
My review is exactly the same as Sain Nelson's one who had a similar experience six days ago. I am in total agreement with you.
I know the photo isn't great, but at least I got better service from the photo than I got from Subway. Not very...
Read moreI went on the 18/8/22 and a bad experience. I asked for a BMT and got a BLT instead. I didn’t realised until I got into work and the bread was burnt to the point I could stab my nails in it and it would break off.
I went back and what a attitude these 2 men had. They was raising there voice and went to tell me I was on the phone when I placed this order and I got my order wrong and how I went round the counter and wasn’t listening.
They also told me the break isn’t burnt it’s how it is after it’s toasted.
Considering I ordered a meal and round the corner is where the drinks are and crisps.
This is poor service and can’t believe you have people working like this. And they speak in there language so you don’t understand what they saying.
