When we walked into the restaurant, I saw a Japanese sushi master behind the sushi counter so that’s a good sign of authenticity. Menu is not the cheapest you can find, but to me it’s affordable. Tuna sushi set - not a huge portion so maybe for men it’s not enough. Nicely made and presented sushi (I’ve seen many look like being made by an amateur). Sushi rice seasoning just right. Tempura bento - that’s good amount of food. Nicely presented too. Also nice surprise to see the hijiki seaweed side dish in the bento, which is not often seen in the Japanese restaurants in the country. And it’s one of my fav. We were only the second table of customers there but food was a bit wait (about half an hour). Salad that comes with the lunch set was fresh. And the staff was so caring that she suggested changing the wasabi salad dressing to sesame dressing as we have children. I would rather pay a bit more to eat here than go for the cheaper (while not truly cheap!) sushi.

Hands down THE BEST JAPANESE RESTAURANT IN LONDON. We came randomly as we fancied sushi and was in the area and was already drawn to the fact that this was a traditional, family run restaurant (so the food must be good). As soon as we got in we were greeted with a Japanese welcome by the staff. The restaurant is designed perfectly and makes you feel like you are in Japan. We chose to sit and the bar and watch the chefs (as it’s always fun) and they did not disappoint. We thought we would only get a few bits but because the food was so good we had to keep ordering more. The tuna was like nothing you have ever tasted before! It literally melts in your mouth. The yellowtail sashimi was amazing and again we savoured every bite. The snow crab uri maki was delicious and so was the salmon and avocado. We topped it off with a sake and had a hand roll for deserts because it was literally that good! Can’t wait to go back!

This.is.good I ended up there very casually, as my partner and myself were waiting for IKEA to put together our online order. We started our dinner with takoyaki and ebi ten roll, octopus balls and a sort of prawn salad, both were incredibly flavourful. We then continued with a sushi platter, which was an absolute delight, and a dragon roll. Each piece of the sushi platter was delicious, from some sashimi cuts of fish I’ve never had before to salmon nigiri (yes, salmon nigiri can actually taste of something). Dragon roll was also good, you can feel the taste of every single ingredient Highly recommended

We have just moved to Willesden Green. We love Japanese food so we were delighted to see a Japanese restaurant near our place and went there for lunch. We paid £29 for a katsudon, a salmon teriyaki, a bowl of rice and a portion of agedashi tofu. The portions were small, and the quality very average. My girlfriend and have been eating Japanese food regularly for 20 years. Considering the quality of the food and the sizes of the portions, I would have expected to pay half the price at most. What made the experience even worse was the waitress. She was either extremely rude or has zero education. When I gave my debit card to pay the bill, she told me very loudly "excuse-me, tip is not included". I knew it was not included as it was written on the bill. I just replied "ok", as in "ok, I hear you". She said again, very loudly "excuse-me, will you add tip to the debit card or do you want to leave cash?" I then got really annoyed. I really dislike it when a restaurant tries to force you to leave a tip. Nothing was special, the food was very average, it is very expensive, the portions are small, we sat 30 min at most to eat our lunch and just left. I ended up leaving £2 tip because of my girlfriend. If i had been there on my own, I would have left zero tip because of the waitress' attitude. I for sure will not go back there. I would rather take the tube and travel a bit further for a better Japanese restaurant (and better...

I visited this restaurant with three others, on the evening of 7 December. I was the only one of us who ate the sushi, and I was the only one who was violently ill for 24 hours the next day. One of the other members of the party was my wife, and we had eaten together for the 3 previous days without her getting ill, which makes me even more certain it was the sushi. Per Brent Council's on line advice, I wrote to the restaurant about this. I was not seeking compensation or redress, but in the interests of public health I wanted to let them know of the issue, especially as there is a Google Review from the previous month highlighting the same issue. I received no reply, which makes me wonder if they take this kind of issue seriously. Two episodes within 2 months is indicative of a problem. I am 61, have eaten sushi all my life in many different countries, and have never previously been ill as a result. Emptying my stomach for 24 hours was not a pleasant way to spend the day following this (not...

Amazing restaurant. Very kind staff, talented chef. Feels like traveling to Japan. A good sign is the fact that other Japanese locals visit the restaurant to eat there.

I ordered a sparking sake, something I had never tried before. It was sweet and light, very delicate and a great choice on the menu.

I also had some salmon sashimi, plum rolls and an omelet nigiri. Everything was great. The salmon was above the quality that I expected to find in London, after being told that it was hard to get fresh fish around here. It melted in the mouth and was very fresh. The omelet was also very good, fluffy, and a generous portion that I could enjoy. The plum rolls were a great discovery for me. Salty and very refined, the fragrant leaves and the plum together made for a developed and interesting flavor. I think it's a typical taste from Japan, but I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed my meal a lot and I thank this great restaurant for welcoming me to London on my first night. I highly...
