I gave them the benefit of the doubt having brought food late at night before thinking I had the āleftoversā. So I come here again since being in the area, early thinking I would get some decent food. Was over charged for one, both times. (Like the prices are just made up on the spot despite the menu) - After spending over Ā£70!
My opinion too many things on the menu for food to be made with love like Caribbean food should be!! The crabs also need to get off the menu or need to buy proper crab. I got the same amount of pepper crab/prawn as I did previously for £10 but I brought for £17.50 as I wanted a bigger portion with some decent crab meat.
The only difference was I got rice with it. Same amount of meat. So unpaid £7.50 for some rice? There was one tiny bit of meat in a claw and it was brown. The jerk- since when is jerk sauce made with gravy granules? The wings, again rock solid and not edible. Tasted like they were made plain then topped with shop brought sauce and they use tropical sun at that?
Please take my advice and do better. Take some stuff off your menu so itās not too overwhelming to add some love into your cooking. Home made sauces? Properly seasoned meat? No gravy granules in your jerk sauce! I am a white girl who loves to cook Caribbean food and also have a catering business. I would never ever serve food to my customers if my food was like this shop.

I also ordered a saltfish fritter but omg what are they doing! This was like a ball of flour without no seasonings, saltfish and onions, how ridiculous and liberty taking. If youāre going to make a saltfish fritter then at least put saltfish inside. Also, the containers used for the food is ridiculously small and very shallow, and the restaurant are just at this point ripping off customers big time! Use larger containers and give customers what they are paying for because your prices arenāt cheap let alone charging customers service charge including delivery fees. 3 wings were basic and the other 2 looked like a ball of bones which is insane.
I struggle to eat it because of how it looked and tasted.
It has been on a downfall for years now from other people`s experiences. I must say this is actually true. Compared to other caribbean foods, i recommend going elsewhere.
The music is loud there, it is like the staff are not too bothered. No consideration of how the customers would feel about loud music or anything.
The main focus is to be very aware of that place.
