Pros:
*Nicely designed exterior that was warm even on a Spring Evening.
*Pizza served on site for reasonable prices - buzzer system ensures swift service and no queues
*Cheap gig tickets (ÂŁ9)
Cons:
*Main Room is crowded AF. The smell of sweat and grime hits you as soon as you enter. I'd prefer less tickets being sold at a higher price
Second Room is right next to the open air urinals and toilets so smells of s*t/sewerage
*Main toilets are unisex, so expect lots of queues and shouts from women if you need to queue for a cubicle (hint: men may need to poo as well). Saw one guy get shouted at and called a see you next tuesday for not gifting his cubicle to a 'lady' because 'she needed to go and he's a man'.
*Toilets aren't maintained, sinks were clogged and over-flowing. I've seen better toilets at festivals.
*Heaving bar that is 3-4 rows deep. Before the club opens you have a moment where there are 3-4 members of staff for hundreds of patrons. Not ideal.
Bar staff are truly inept. They need to learn how to manage queues - they were tending to serve whoever had their tts out or caught their eye. Never in my life lost my cool with bar staff until Friday Night, cannot under-state how terrible they were at even attempting to manage who should be served next.
*Not sure if this is a complaint as it's 'London Prices' but it was ÂŁ6.20 for a pint
*Security staff will take your wallet out and sift through each of your bank cards.....bit strange.
Clientele was extremely chav-tastic but not the fault of the club.
Expect: Lots of being barged around and drinks spilt down you. If you're lucky, someone will even barge into the urinals and p**s so close you get their...
Read moreWe had a reservation but we werenât on the list so it took slightly longer to entry. The place itself looks great but there is no social distancing at all, people are crowding, standing by your table, right next to you because there is no empty table for 4+ and nobody is wearing mask (never)⌠we tried to order via the QR code, but we were unable because the website didnât include the venueâs name, so the waitress had to come to our table after about 10 minutes waiting (security guy informed the waitress about the problem). My husband gave his AmEx credit card to the waitress to open a tab. Two people behind the bar and a few runners for way too many tables. Our drinks were waiting on the counter for about 10 minutes to be delivered to us, but the waitress has apologised for the long wait. My husband ordered a lager, a cocktail and I ordered a cocktail too. The drinks were nice, a bit overpriced, but I donât understand why are they coming in a single use plastic cupâŚ? We left after we spent there an hour, because our table was located under a speaker so it was hard to make a conversation and when the place became completely full, people were standing around our table leaving not even an arm length of space, and shouting to each other because of the loud music, which was making others to stop even trying to make a conversation. When we went to the bar to pay, the same waitress told us that they are not accepting AmEx, which we didnât really understand because she could have let us know this, when she took my husbandâs credit card to open a tab?! I donât think we are going to return here to be honest because this is pretty much one of that place what we donât like. The music is way too loud to call it a bar, but itâs not a...
