What a horrific experience. Honestly this restaurant should be reported to the police. Firstly, this is not a genuine Indian restaurant. It is a Bangladeshi restaurant masquerading as Indian. (Quick tip: Whenever you see "Motor" Ponir or "Motor" Paneer on the Menu at any Indian restaurant, turn around and run away without looking back). I bought 4 dishes, and not one of them was edible. I had to throw all of it away when I reached home.
I can't believe I fell for these criminals. The food is third class, looks and tastes like made from some sewage water. The breads are half-cooked. Their main strategy is to prey on either drunk people passing by who are looking for late dinner and can't make proper decisions. OR, they prey on Non-Indian people who probably do not know what Indian food tastes like. In either case, they work like a Venus-fly-trap, sweet-talking passers-by to come inside and try their food at reasonable prices. The main waiter identifies who is the person going to pay for the group, and then sweet-talks him by saying things like "young-guy", "handsome-man" etc and suggests them exorbitantly priced garbage main-courses to create a big fat bill in the end of the meal which the person then feels shy to challenge or ask for the calculation.
During the 20 minutes I spent at the restaurant waiting for my order, on the night of 12th April, and saw how masterfully the manager sweet-talked people from the street to come inside the restaurant to try food, cherry-picking gullible drunk people, and how at the time of deciding what to order he suggested them to order the most expensive and large meals to eat. To top it all, the food prepared is simply garbage.
All the bills given are hand-written and fake. Which means they are not paying any of the taxes they are collecting from you. Ask for computerised invoice...

noticed my glass had layers of thick brown slime on the inside, assumed it was a mistake, politely asked for a swap and was berated and told it ‘wasn’t dirty’ despite thick gobs of gunk scraping off when you touched it still gave the benefit of the doubt, only to be:
consistently brought extra orders of food than what we ordered (rice, naans, and samosas were all doubled what we asked for) brought different, more expensive versions of food than what we ordered server went to washroom and appeared to come straight out without washing hands (for what it’s worth, also sneezed and then didn’t wash hands) gave us a bill charging us for doubles of what we had ordered. When we attempted to clarify, were yelled at aggressively. bill was indecipherable — despite contesting and removing the double orders we hadn’t asked for, still walked away paying ~15 £ more than the bill should have been.
Basically fled and cut our losses. Could have overlooked the terrible food and lack of cleanliness had the server not aggressively yelled at us and so very clearly be running a scam.
Only wish we’d glanced at reviews before going in. First place I’ve ever been to that truly deserves the negative reviews— worst restaurant I’ve ever been to, across 6 continents (quite an impressive...

WORSE THAN WHAT YOU FEED PEOPLE IN JAIL.
Don’t be like me and start reading the reviews only after experiencing bad service or while waiting for your food.
That's when you'll realize how bad it really is…
The food was disgusting and probably the worst I’ve ever had. The butter chicken and rice tasted like they were microwaved and reheated. I can’t agree more with the 1.9-star rating and the reviews.
They tried to overcharge me, and hid the menu. I booked through The Fork, an app that gives 50% off the bill. When it came to paying, they tried to change it to 40%. The service charge was nearly 20%, which is extortionate (who do they think they are, a 5* Michelin restaurant?). He yelled at me for not wanting to pay the service charge. I could hear him yelling on the phone in Bengali that he hadn’t made enough money that day. The food was microwaved or tasted like it. He told me to pay the service charge in full or leave immediately. He told me to “Shhhh” so the other customers wouldn’t hear that I booked for 50% off.
Absolutely no customer service, just money-hungry thieves.
Bengali: "tom-rah Soor o-kohol"
Absolutely disgusting.
And yes, they do make weird comments while serving and sweet-talk you, only to serve you with that 20% service charge.
DO NOT COME HERE....
