Right so again, hate to give a negative review (literally just walking around currently, trying to find an honest bowl of pho). Place (massive) was empty except for 1 table - should have been my first clue. I read the menu posted outside and it indicated the price of pho (being about £9.50-10, even after a pen had been taken to it - that’s fine, prices have gone up recently - still seemed reasonable). Came in, sat down, looked at the menus, guess what - £11-12. Talked to the waiter about it who said sorry and claimed “manager/owner not here”. What a joke - it’s about the principle, not the £1-2. However, the Vietnamese iced coffee was too sweet for my liking, and I wish I had asked for no syrup. It was a shame as I typically enjoy a good Vietnamese iced coffee, but the syrup overpowered the coffee flavor.
Overall, I would say the restaurant is good if you are looking for a quick bowl of pho in the area, with some dishes being better than others. Perhaps with a few tweaks to the dishes and some adjustments to the level of sweetness in their drinks, it could be a better...
