I came here on Sunday for a roast and ordered the beef. The interior was extremely dark even at 4 pm – it felt like night inside, and it was very uncomfortable to eat in that lighting. I asked for a hot drink and was told there were none available. Only when I said that I wanted to order roast but if no hot drink then I would leave, the bartender suddenly “find” black tea and peppermint tea, which felt quite odd. The barman lady later confirmed that actually they had hot drinks like teas. I decided to sit outside because it was too dark inside, but the outdoor table was wobbly. They kindly fixed it, but there was no salt or pepper provided at the table, even though staff knew I would be dining outside. I had to leave my belongings and go back inside to ask for basic condiments. The roast itself was mixed: Yorkshire pudding and potatoes were delicious and hot, but the beef was also delicious but almost cold. I mentioned this politely to the bartender, who said she would pass the feedback to the kitchen. When I went to pay, I was charged £26, even though the roast was £21 and tea £2.90. Only after asking for a receipt I saw that a 10% service charge had already been added. On top of that, the card machine prompted me to leave an extra tip, which I also added. So essentially, I paid a double tip for service that was far below expectations. Plates were left uncleared after my meal, even though staff were around. Overall, the food had a big potential but the service was very poor: inconsistent information (first no tea, then tea appears), basic things like salt and pepper missing, cold meat, and automatic service charges on top of extra tips. No Wi-Fi either. Because of these issues, no more than 3 stars.

I popped in for a quick supper and found this place absolutely fabulous. The atmosphere is very chilled. There is a TV with very low volume so people can enjoy the music in background. If you like to enjoy Golf instead of football, this is the right place. Regarding food, the menu has a great selection of traditional food but also very good options for a quick bite: I ordered some seasonal vegetables and some truffle and Parmesan fries, both delicious! Staff is also very nice, although they were run out of Parmesan for the fries, so had to swap it with some cheddar which completely hided the flavour of the truffle. They could tell me before ordering them but that is okay. The prices are very fair and the service is quite fast, well done 👏🏻

I came here on Saturday evening with my partner and a friend. We all had a burger meal each and 2 cocktails and 1 mocktail. I was stunned to see our bill come upto over £80, the service was ridiculous, food ordered came out wrong and waited around 30 mins for a new plate to come out. The staff wasn’t too fussed to serve us but had a cheek to charge £9 service charge on our bill. The atmosphere was good and some great tunes being played but all in all I wouldn’t recommend coming here as it’s a bit of a shambles definitely not for food either as I found the food quality not that great too. Really disappointed in our visit.

we came here twice today (before and after a show at the theatre) and the service was a little slow but lovely. the main reason for my review is to thank the security staff so much for their very professional handling of a fight between two of my dad's friends tonight that turned physical. I've worked in clubs myself and know how hard security work, and the guys working tonight were some of the most professional, calm, and rational I have ever seen. We were at the pub for several hours when a silly spat between one of our party members and an old friend of one of ours who was also there turned very nasty upon closing, and the team here dealt with it in one of the best ways I've ever seen. Thanks very much to the team here and I can't apologise enough for how one of our party members behaved, thank you for the good music and drinks and the incredible...

This is an amazing pub, bar, restaurant; I have been going here since the day it opened.

The staff are very attentive, caring and demonstrate a clear passion for customer satisfaction, the food is cooked with passion and follows a clear and methodical approach to seasons and events.

the cocktails are perfect every time and go beyond the quality of higher priced restaurants and bars in central London, the knowledge the staff have is beyond anywhere I have seen, spirits, wines and champagne, anything you can ask, the explanations and method to every detail are explained and demonstrated. The relaxed, Formal, Smart casual, Party atmosphere to name a few demonstrate the flexibility of how this establishment functions and I have experienced it all here; a pint after work to new years, Christmas or a birthday.

to sum this all up, this...
