Agree with other reviews- Awful and avoid. Beautiful bar. Staying at hotel and was told bar open to midnight. Arrived at 10:50 after dinner and was told immediately- first words out of waiter’s mouth-it’s almost last call and we’re given the brush off. We pointed out the huge time remaining on hours and they admitted last call was really in 40 minutes.
Got one drink and then nothing/no service - despite almost empty bar. Being proactive, approached bar on my own and asked for 2 more wines at 11:15- which never came. Waiter was purposefully avoiding us to perhaps “teach us a lesson.” At 11:40 went to front desk direct given the passage of time and the waiters then scurried to get us the requested drinks. Italian waiter with the man-bun/ponytail was smirking and being incredibly rude from start to finish.
Very disappointed with the bar and that they allow this Italian joker to work here. Previously stayed at Kensington 5 nights on the same trip and it was 1 million times more hospitable and courteous - the Kensington bar was excellent, served you drinks and stayed open per...

It started with an arrogant response to one of the groups request to check if there was dairy in a drink (he’s allergic) and ended up with a 30 min wait for no drinks to turn up. We left.

We then waited 45 minutes only to find he’d never put the drink order through and after asking if they were coming we were told there was a printer issue ( this was despite him coming over to say the drinks were on their way after a 15mins wait).
He waited to offer me a 20% discount after ruining the night to which I said it should be free…

Read moreMy go-to escape every couple of months when I need some time to myself. It’s always buzzing with people, yet somehow manages to feel calm and peaceful—if that makes sense. The staff are genuinely lovely: polite and attentive, and they always make you feel at home.
I’ve dined both in the main restaurant and at The Cocktail Bar. I’m guessing the same kitchen handles both, but the food’s a bit inconsistent. The fries are often overcooked, and the tempura prawns tend to be on the oily side. The Champagne? It's perfectly acceptable.
If you appreciate a touch of elegance, this place absolutely delivers. Tucked away just behind Marylebone High Street, it’s a hidden gem worth...
