Stopped off for quick takeaway coffee, coffee was excellent. Toilet had no hot water and I pulled out a fiver that ripped as I got it out my pocket to pay, and offered it to the cashier as payment, apologizing for human error if tearing my fiver that got caught up in loose change, but they wouldn't take it. Sadly the minimum payment by card was £3.50, less than the value of the coffee. So I asked them if they wanted to keep the coffee or I use my card. After getting looked at with disappointment and scorn after a short pause, manager said it was ok to pay with card as a one off. A greasy spoon vibe with great food at an affordable price. Owner is amazing, service is amazing and it seems surprisingly quiet which was a shock for the quality of the food. Fast service but food was hot and cooked to perfection. Crunchy and soft chips, egg still runny, sausage had a nice crust and bacon was charred slightly (some don’t like it, but I love the mild charcoal flavour). Only downside is it seems a bit too outdated in terms of the interior, but don’t let that put you off… I wish I lived nearby as I would definitely come back often. This cafe is really good I would recommend it to anyone. They have a large variety of food with different options on the menu. The price you pay is definitely worth the food you get served. The beef burger is my favourite it’s delicious and packed with a lot of flavour it’s cooked correctly and is in general a perfect dish.
