The Fox in Shoreditch – A Hidden Gem That Made Our Night Unforgettable
We hired the top bar and outside area of The Fox in Shoreditch for our event, and I can honestly say it was nothing short of incredible.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and completely on it – striking that rare balance between professional and relaxed. Every request was handled with care and ease, and they truly made us feel at home. You could tell they actually cared about the success of the night, which is so rare.
The top bar itself has this effortless charm – characterful but not pretentious, with just the right lighting, layout, and sound. And the rooftop/outdoor area? An absolute dream. Tucked away above the bustle of Shoreditch, it felt like our own secret haven – open, welcoming, and alive with atmosphere.
The vibe of the whole place was spot-on. There’s something about The Fox that just brings people together – maybe it’s the layout, the energy, or just the kind of crowd it draws – but it made our gathering feel intimate and electric at the same time.
Every guest left saying how special the night felt, and a huge part of that was down to the venue. Couldn’t recommend it more highly for anyone looking for a space that’s stylish, soulful, and genuinely supportive.

Read moreMy daughter had her 12th birthday party in the karaoke den and it was wonderful! I wasn't sure they'd allow a kid's party but they were fine as it was early.
The karaoke den is a great sound-proofed room with a big screen and two microphones. The were only 12 in my party but the room can hold up to 20, I imagine it would get quite hot and stuffy in there though.
We had a the room booked for four hours (long!) with food served on the floor below. Throughly recommend the korean chicken wings!
The person that made the party run smoothly was a lovely and super efficient lady called Alex. She was on hand straight away to talk the girls through using the system, she organised the drink and food for us and was always available to answer questions and nothing was too much bother, so thank you very much Alex!
Would definitely go again, but with my...

What I like about this place is that whilst being near bank and its ilk it manages to keep a really classic London pub feel.
I should start with the fact that they do a decent pint of Harvey's Best. Apparently that's hard to come by.
They also do other drinks (surprisingly) and really nice looking bar snacks (pizza, scotch eggs I think, sausage rolls etc). It all looks rustic and really nice!
Generally I've always had a decent time in here. Bar staff are friendly, clientele are generally decent, chilled out and decent drink!
Like I said. Classic London pub feel. Nothing fancy. I can't write a 1000 word poem about their philosophy towards craft ales. They do decent drinks (and I postulate decent food) and it's a nice...
