Fantastic and unique craft beer pub located in an old Edwardian public toilet block, located about a 5 minute walk from Severn Sisters station, and about 20 minutes walk from the Tottenham stadium.
They have 10 keg lines that seem to rotate regularly, and cover a range of styles from pale ales, IPAs, stouts and sours, with at least a couple of London Brewery's (I'd highly recommend anything from The Kernal Brewery - there's usually at least 1 of their beers available).
There's seating for about 30ish people inside, and they also have several benches in a garden area outside. It gets very busy on a Spurs match day, which can make for a great atmosphere.
I haven't tried it yet, but the Sunday Roasts look very good (I don't think they're available on a Spurs matchday) - booking is defiantly needed if you want to eat inside, but I believe you can order to a table outside, which there are usually some...
Read moreSiren Soundwave very nice grapefruit and citrus, fizzy with plenty of quirky angles (was served quite cold). Siren Mango Beer, we were warned that it was £12 a pint!! For me, a waste. Did not taste like beer more an alcoholic fruit juice. Lastly, the most expensive pint of beer I have ever bought (and, interestingly, no warning!) Siren Death by Chocolate Carribian Cake with Xmas spices, I think it was £19 (yikes) - only time a barman has ever offered to poor me a THIRD of a pint; but we had a pint, should have asked the price after the offer though. It was fantastically chocolate - I can quite like chocolate stout but this was maybe over the top, for me. Glad we tried it, now I can boast. We didn't eat but tables either side of us did, food looked good for a pub and there were no complaints. Expensive beer but it is a very small pub, probably has to be to work. I'm probably not going back but plenty...
Read moreHaving lived in the Seven Sisters/ South Tottenham area for many years, when I heard that this ex-public toilets was being transformed into a pub I was very excited. I had walked past the abandoned building dozens of times and dreamed of what it could be. The owners Alex and Chris have given the place a cooly stylish and sympathetic make-over, retaining the tiles and original windows, making it a real point of difference. The selection of craft beers change weekly, and Joel, Amy and the other staff are knowledgable, friendly and warm. The bar snacks and midweek suppers are all handmade in the on-site kitchen, as are the incredibly popular Sunday roasts (with a vegan option too) - how Chris manages to serve so many happy punters from his tiny kitchen amazes me. I would definitely recommend booking for Sunday dinner. Delighted to call the best pub in...
