šĀ Bethnal Green šŗĀ Ā£6.80 Stonewall IPA ā¤ļø A superb East End boozer with loads of beer choices. . Tucked away off the beaten track in Bethnal Green youāll find The Kings Arms. The nearest station is Bethnal Green overground which is a gentle ten minute stroll away. . From the outside this pub smacks of red patterned carpet, flowery wallpaper and a couple of fruit machines but as much as I wanted it to be true, it wasnāt but this is not a bad thing. . The decor here is contemporary with lots of traditional touches. Around the bar and walls are lovingly crafted pale green tongue and groove panels which are accented by subtle pictures and mirrors, this makes for a calming environment. . Now for the beer, the choice and advice preorder is outstanding. Iām not a connoisseur or a beer bore but I do have an open mind to someone who knows their stuff. I didnāt have a scooby what to order but the very nice gentleman behind the bar helped me through the multitude of beverages available here. After some informative consultation I decided on a Stonewall IPA by @brooklynbrewery , it was a top tipple and really hit the spot. . The atmosphere here was convivial and relaxing, this pub is geared up to be a hipster central but itās anything but, this is good old fashioned pubbing at its finest. . The @kingsarmspub is an exceptional pub that oozes calm and character. Bethnal Green has always been synonymous with decent down to earth boozers, this pub encapsulates E2ās heritage and takes it eloquently in to the future. If know your beer or have no idea, this pub is a must visit. . ā¹ļøĀ Info correct on...

This is a just another lovely neighborhood pub. You probably won't like it. It's doubtful that you have the self-confidence or local creds to enjoy this pub. The beer list is full of names you probably won't recognize; they're chosen on taste rather than status quota. There's no live music to distract you from the beer. There's no gastropub menu to enhance your status with your co-workers or opposite sex target.
There's pretty much just the beer.
You probably should stick to the trendy spots that your mates may have heard of. Why bother with exotic cask ales, or weird unknown craft IPA's and stouts. You're better off sticking with a trendy joint where you can see and be seen.
