If you're looking for a real review in deciding whether to go to this place or not, read mine below and read some of the other places i have reviewed around London.
I've read other reviews on here, all the ones with 1 stars and 1 - 10 total profile reviews should be ignored as they're fake. Those fake reviewers have left 1 stars because they're hurt about something so small or have not been to this establishment. It hurts good businesses.
In all fairness, anybody with a decent profile with more than a dozen reviews or in fact with a minimum of more than 50 reviews should be taken seriously, be it 1 star or 5 stars.
Anyways i will write up my review now, i like to go into detail so make sure you're sitting down comfortably.
I went there with my wife and son, late in the afternoon around 5 pm. Given the fact we were travelling we decided to stop somewhere enroute home.
We were greeted by a young girl. She was very courteous and sat us down.
She gave us the menus to look over which we did, she gave us enough time before coming over to take our order.
Food arrived promptly, we ordered:
Lamb Beyti with Chips 1/2 Grilled Spicy Chicken with rice x2 Lamachun Sprite for the wife and tap water for me.
My wifes drink was served, I asked for tap water earlier, this was forgotten. I reminded the lady and she brought it very quickly. She even bought my son a plastic cup without me requesting. Although water was forgotten (honest mistake) i realised straight away they were paying attention to detail - i was impressed.
We were served sliced steamed/baked bread with sauces to get our appetites going. They had added spices and chilliflakes to the bread which added a nice flavour to the bread, tasting like no other bread I've had before. I Loved it.
The Beyti soon arrived with the 1/2 chicken and Lamachun. The 1/2 chicken was advertised spicy, i like spicy food. However it appeared to be too spicy for my wifes palate but she still managed to eat it. I reminded her the chicken was advertised spicy but she wasnt expecting the kick from it. When i had the chicken with the spicy sauce it was fine and amazing. For me it was not at all spicy, infact i even ordered the sauce in a pot again so i can drench my chips in it.
It just goes to show flavors or spices can be subjective and different to each individual person, we're not all the same. Their bright orange chilli sauce is very flavoursome - make sure you try it.
The Beyti was great, wrapped in pitta and it was sliced to pieces ready to be eaten. The chicken and rice was very good too, nice and soft. Our son was able to share our food, from rice to chips however his favourite was the Lahmachun.
It was a lot of food so we took some of it home with us.
We were asked how our food was and if we needed anything else. The lady was really nice and looked after us.
I would highly recommend this place, all their food is cooked fresh on the grill. I saw both the chicken being grilled and beyti being cooked from where i was sitting near the counter.
5 ⭐ from me 5 ⭐ from my wife and the one that matters most.... 5 🌟 from my two year old son. He had the best seat in the house!

Read moreWent to Adana today with two friends and had an incredibly disappointing experience. We ordered two kofte meals, one chicken shish, and a lahmacun. Right as we walked in, we saw two customers leaving behind a lot of food on their plates — we should’ve taken that as a red flag, but gave the place the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake.
The kofte was awful — overly fatty and lacking any real flavor. The bulgur rice was dry and tasteless, and overall, nothing we were served was enjoyable. To top it off, we ordered a Tango Apple drink as listed on the menu, only to be served the sugar-free version — still charged the full premium price with no warning or alternative offered.
We flagged the dry bulgur to the waiter, who barely acknowledged it and brushed us off with a "I'll tell the chef," which clearly didn’t mean anything. The service matched the quality of the food — poor and indifferent.
This place was a total letdown. Save your time and money — I do not recommend it.
Update to Review – Response to Owner
Thanks for your reply, but it speaks volumes about how you treat genuine feedback. Rather than addressing any of the actual concerns I raised, you chose to deflect and get personal — even digging into my review history instead of reflecting on your own standards. That alone shows the kind of “hospitality” people can expect from management.
Let’s be clear: leftover food doesn’t always mean generous portions. In this case, it was because the food was simply not edible. Just like us, we overheard others say they wouldn’t be coming back. And no — the kofte wasn't “too much” food, it was too much fat, poorly made, and left untouched because of that.
I speak the truth in reviews and only leave them when something really stands out — usually when places fail to meet the basic expectations. I don’t hand out reviews lightly. You say you're Turkish cuisine, but putting fried onions or shallots on bulgur rice? No Turkish kitchen would do that. It was dry, tasteless, and far from authentic.
And yes, I know how the glowing reviews game works — friends, family, or favors. But real diners know the difference between genuine quality and style over substance.
Instead of trying to discredit disappointed customers, take the feedback on board and actually use it to improve. That would go a lot further than...
Read moreWe had a wonderful family dinner at Adana Turkish and Fusion Restaurant in Bethnal Green to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and it was a night to remember. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a family meal, with a lively yet comfortable vibe that made everyone feel at home. We went for the mixed platters for four, and everything on the table was delicious. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and tender, the ribs were juicy with great smoky flavor, and the kufta was savory and well-spiced. The bread was soft and fresh, a perfect accompaniment to soak up all the tasty sauces and sides. Each bite showed care in preparation, and the variety kept things exciting for our whole group. Two special moments stood out: the owner generously brought out two milk cakes for our birthday girl, a thoughtful gesture that made the celebration even more memorable. We also savored baklava with ice cream, a delightful pairing that added a sweet finish to the meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed without hovering. They helped accommodate a birthday moment in a natural, unobtrusive way, which added a special touch to the celebration. It’s clear this place values family-friendly dining and good flavors in equal measure. If you’re looking for a place in East London that offers comforting Turkish dishes with a contemporary twist, Adana Turkish and Fusion is a great pick. Perfect for family gatherings, birthday meals, or simply enjoying a flavorful night out. We left feeling satisfied, with full bellies and happy memories from a...
