This Old Bird and her ould Irish husband called in for a drink today. Was it good? No. Was it great? Yes. If I could have got my Irish mammy up out of the grave and sat her down with a whiskey and dry ginger, I would have. She's been dead this long time and it would have been just like the pubs were when she died in the 70s. This is just was pubs were like years ago, the landlady is great craic and when I asked if she knew of a pub that showed Gaelic games, she went out of her way to write down the directions to a pub that did.
