Decided to stop here for a nice Sunday roast , was advised that only roast chicken was on the menu waited quite a while for the meals to come out and when they did they were cold and lacking in roast potatoes , when I asked where the roast potatoes were I was told they had run out ??? No mention of running out of roasts was mentioned , Shantelle took out meals back to reheat and apologised , the meals came back and were hot but had only been reheated in a microwave so the gravy was completely dry and sticky , new gravy was ordered but by the time it came out my husband had eaten his meal out of hunger but I just couldn't eat it as it was still very dry , Shantelle said she would get the manager 😀 he (Warren) came out and clearly had no idea how to speak to customers or staff members as he was extremely rude and refused to refund us as my husband had eaten his , I explained that my meal was inedible but he still would not budge and told Shantelle to " stay out of it " in a really aggressive manner , we were all shocked that he had spoken to a member of staff like this , he then ran off and wasn't seen again even though another member of staff went to try and find him , Do not have a meal here unless you want to throw your money away . I have posted a picture of my meal which really wasn't worth £13 at all .

I wandered in for my first time 2 years ago expecting a tourist trap. However it’s thoroughly defied that assumption, and is hands-down one of my favorite pubs in London. My partner and I love it every time we come. Great vibe and food and pricing is awesome too! I also would be remiss not to mention the amazing service, too. For the impressive location so close to Tower Bridge, you normally expect central London pubs to have crummy service (and sour looking bartenders, like at the 2 further locations we visited afterward). Contrary to the norm, they’ve got it all: Both bartenders were so welcoming and friendly, the food is awesome, and the old authentic English pub feel and festive decor + fireplace makes it a 10/10 for my partner and I! We can’t stop coming back! Very inclusive, friendly, and overall amazing pub.

We loved this place. We ordered 2 meals for 21£ and 2 drinks. 7,90 cocktail and 5£ Guinness beer. 34£ all-together. Big tasty juicy portions. I loved the atmosphere, very local, hidden gem ;) Lovely service, relaxed atmosphere. Toilet and WiFi available, recommend! Big screens with football. Fast to order. (You need to order and pay at the bar and say which table number you have: the staff will bring food and drinks to you. We are couple from Ylitornio, Lapland and my husband was visiting London for the very first time, so I wanted to show him a super local place. We loved the atmosphere and the food. ;)

A group of us from work came here for our Christmas dinner. It was one of the worst Christmas dinners we'd ever experienced.

It is cold December 2012 and we're sat in a large dining room on the 1st floor with inadequate heating. The plates arrived and they're frozen. We mention this to the manager and he says for health and safety reasons, they cannot warm the plates!

The main meal arrives and the roast potatoes look great from the outside but are as solid as rock on the inside and greasy. The rest of the meal arrives, the veg (carrots and parsnips) are burnt, extremely greasy and luke warm!

We tell the manager about the potatoes and he takes them away, leaving the rest of the meal to sit on the table for at least 20 mins. When the potatoes come back, the rest of the meal is cold. To prepare the potatoes, The Bridge Lounge & Bar had simply put them in a deep fat fryer after only partially roasting them in the oven previously. I don’t know if anyone has ever experienced this but it was horrific!!!

At this point, I made an official complaint on behalf of the group about the poor quality of the meal and the catalogue of errors that were making matters worse. I was fobbed off and told that I could only make my complaint to the owner. The manager seemed rather young to be in a position of such responsibility. He was also quite rude and left me feeling concerned about the food we were going to receive. I also felt like giving him to tissue to blow his nose because as he was speaking to us it was continually running down his nose!

I decided that I would take this up with the owner as he is ultimately responsible. Whenever I tried to call the owner, he was never available. On one occasion, I called and stood outside the bar and was told that the manager wasn’t there even though I could see him behind the bar, standing next to the person who I was speaking to.

I never did speak to the manager, or get my refund but thought I’d leave this review instead. I think you should seriously consider going here because The Bridge Lounge & Bar does not care about your custom, or about the poor quality of the food they throw at you, JUST...

Left the pub in disgust out of principle due to poor bartending custom, with my drink almost untouched after being asked to pay twice.

Due to covid, the bar has limited bodies they are letting inside, however they let you in and order your drink, then once taking payment they ask you to leave and drink it on the street. If this is the case, why would the bartender not advise this is the case before taking your order instead of asking you to leave when theres plenty of room inside the bar? More so, I went alone to wind down and watch the football, I was not in a group.

Following on from this after paying, I stood outside by the bar window and sipped my drink, yet 5minutes later the bar tender came outside and made an already awkward experience worse by asking me to return inside to pay again as he doesnt think it went through 5minutes prior? And then leave again and return to my window spot on the street and stare through the glass past the crowd of people already inside to try watch some football?

I paid (most likely twice for my drink), left it at the bar and left out of principle. Awful experience for someone new to the area and I’ll not be returning to or recommending this place to peers. Plenty of bars in the area I trust would treat their customers better than the...
