Such a fun time! Did the Room 33 experience with three people and completed it just in time, despite it being one of our group memberâs first ever escape room! Not scary. Cool tech used throughout. And our game master Daniel was really lovely. Really clear instructions at the start. One of our group was nervous beforehand about feeling claustrophobic but it didnât cross her mind in there as we were caught up in solving puzzles and the main room was very bright and spacious (designed like a museum gallery). We were a bit clueless in the first ten minutes as to where to start, but once you get going and jump on in, itâs really satisfying and felt exciting. The time went quickly. It was not easy but also not frustratingly difficult. (We did use our walkie-talkie hints on a few puzzles when time was running out and Daniel gave us some pretty clear nudges that we definitely needed). We were really buzzing afterwards and already want to book again for the Pharaohâs...
Read moreEgyptian themed escape room at tooley street. Venue was easy to find and right near the station. On arrival we were greeted and made to feel welcome by a friendly lady at the front desk. Charlotte was our host for the room and she did a great job of setting the scene and making sure we understood the concept and overall goal. We have completed a few escape rooms previously so we felt fairly prepared for what was in-store for us once inside the room. On entering the room we soon discovered that we were fish out of water......clever and challenging puzzles with a fresh twist kept us battling on throughout and Charlotte was always on the end of the walkie talkie offering a little nudge in the right direction from time to time. We did escape with little help and little time remaining. We were a group of 4 , 2 adults and 2 teenage boys.....great fun and would definitely recommend. Thank you Charlotte and all at Escape...

The staff were helpful at the site, and explained the rules; one of them did have a slight accent, which is no issue at all for many, but if you're hard of hearing you may need support with understanding them. This also caused some issues with the walkie talkie.
I went to the Egyptian themed room (tomb?!). The room itself was engaging; the only thing I didn't like was the fact that it was completely dark at first. We did have torches but only one and it was a bit weak. Some of us used our phone lights instead, but most people had left them in the lockers instead.
The puzzles required good communication to solve, and were made to look like the theme. The room itself was challenging, but better with support from the host. I can't say much more because SPOILERS, but it was a fun hour to spend with friends.
TL;DR Fun for friends, not as inclusive as...
