We were very much looking forward to dining here before seeing Peter Kay, but unfortunately, it was a pretty bad experience. One of the screens was frozen, so couldn’t really use it. Then, we paid extra for cheese for our burger and they forgot to give it to us. Had to specifically ask for it, and when we finally got it, it was straight out of the fridge. Both the chicken and the fries lacked salt and seasoning. The worst thing, however, was the sauce on their Korean chicken. It was so overpowering and had so much orange in it that I could barely taste the meat! And after I was done eating, the taste of that terrible sauce still lingered in my mouth. If we weren’t in a rush, we would have definitely gone elsewhere because that genuinely was such a bad meal. We’ve contacted their customer service to ask for our money back, as well as provide feedback, but unfortunately haven’t heard back from them (it’s been 5 days now). I would avoid this overpriced fast food joint at all cost. Might as well go to KFC if you want something cheap, or Nandos if you want nice tasting chicken. This place...
Read moreAfter a visit to Cineworld at the O2, we decided to eat here because it served halal food and had great reviews. We were not disappointed! The food was really well crafted, good portion sizes and exceptionally tasty. The meat was fresh, the spices and sauces were good and the efficiency was excellent. Seating arrangements could be better but we were lucky to find a place to seat the 6 of us. We ordered several different items from the menu and were impressed with all of them, burgers, wraps, wings & milkshakes.
There are two minor reasons that I have dropped a star from the rating. Firstly, they are expensive. For 6 of us to eat, the bill came to around £80. I understand being in the O2 they have to charge these kinds of prices, but it is still a lot in my opinion. Secondly, I was disappointed that they ask you to pay additionally for the sauces. I would expect at the prices of the meals that they would include at least one sauce with every meal, but maybe I'm just being picky here.
Overall a great experience and cannot knock the food in any way. Whatever you guys are doing,...
Read moreThe reason there are so many high reviews is because they’re mostly all fake: incentivised with £20 raffles. As for the food… I won’t be doing this to myself again. The menu is well designed in a nice Canva template but what you receive doesn’t match the promise. The chicken is salty and that’s about its only flavour profile. The chicken burger was in an un-toasted buns straight from the bag. How much lazier can one be? Even at home I’m only this lazy if I’ve got the flu and grabbing at bread for pure calories. I put my wager on the original investors going “let’s do fried chicken” and then never conducting a taste menu, and going straight to mass production and marketing. No napkins, no condiments, no utensils; you must ask for them individually. The so called “kids meals” are just as sad. When you go into the food business and care about your customers as much as an ex from high school… you get Thunderbird (ahem, more...
